Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is facing calls for impeachment after reports that his wife, Ginni Thomas, actively urged then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to help overturn the 2020 election.
The attention surrounding Ginni Thomas began when text messages provided to the Jan. 6 select committee were obtained and published by various outlets, including The Washington Post.
“Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!…You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History,” Ginni Thomas texted Meadows on November 10, 2020.
On January 10, 2021, Ginni Thomas wrote: “We are living through what feels like the end of America.”
“Most of us are disgusted with the VP and are in listening mode to see where to fight with our teams. Those who attacked the Capitol are not representative of our great teams of patriots for DJT!!”
The feminist organization The Women’s March called for the judge’s impeachment, citing his wife’s texts.
“The revelations that Ginni Thomas advocated for the overthrow of our democracy are disqualifying — not just for her as a human being of any decency, but for her husband Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas,” said Women’s March Executive Director Rachel O’ Leary Carmona.
“From the day he was nominated to the Court, Thomas has always acted less like a reasonable jurist and more like his wife — that is to say a professional conservative activist. He is hopelessly compromised, conflicted, and corrupt, and he must be impeached IMMEDIATELY.”
But some say the left merely sees this as an opportunity to attack the conservative judge.
“The Left’s partisan crusade to force Justice Thomas off of cases is not based on real recusal standards but on politics,” said Carrie Severino, president of the Judicial Crisis Network and former clerk for Thomas.
“Liberals don’t like the fact that he is black and won’t follow their agenda, so they invent flimsy controversies to discredit him for thinking for himself.”

It is sickening what they are doing. If I were a Trumper that is sitting in prison, I would be mad. I got to thinking about this. She is going to get off, while the other morons sit in jail. The entire case against Justice Thomas’s wife are just the normal lies brought about by the liberal media. Let’s see, paying a lot more for gas, food, electricity. Drugs, illegals pouring over the boarder, crime is up. Thousands LOSING their jobs over mandates. Inflation here. Interest rates up. Food shortages. Kids forced to wear masks 8hrs a day. A President that has to be corrected by the ones that allow him to speak. An Afghanistan disaster. A cackling VP who can’t find time to go to the border or answer simple questions. Cities burned all summer. Loss of freedom of speech. Stock market down. War in Ukraine. Parents FIGHTING for the right to control what their kids learn in school. Election fraud. What is left for this administration to destroy. Time for another Covid booster and another and another and another. Oops you still get Covid. But luckily you have a dirty wet unfiltered cloth mask to protect you. Especially outside in the park or while alone driving in your car. Not one liberal I know can name one thing Biden has accomplished. Only that they didn’t like Trump. I think that what Thomas’ wife said was prescient, and what the Women’s March claim is absurd. The Women’s movement is completely discredited. Ask their position on transgender swimmers, and destroying women’s sports in the name of equality for women. The Women’s March thinks it can define American democracy in their image. Their vision is a totalitarian state where they decide, and the others obey. All it takes to win is to stand up to the left. They have nothing. Sunlight destroys them.

As a citizen of this country, every person holding that status has the right to make a request of any Official in our Government, at any time they choose, which is one of our freedoms, that is not yet taken away… I just recently used it, being a constituent of those who represent my state, a request was made… People seem to want others to do their thinking for them, I am not one of those and would not want to see anyone else not maintain that same freedom, which I think would be a socialistic ideology, which creates mindless drones… Beware that the very things spoken of, be the very thing you are not able to express, freedom of choice, it’s an old song, but freedom really is not free, too many have paid the ultimate price, let us not waste it, in ignorance and division… We have too many problem makers and too few problem solvers… Stand together, are we will surely fall…
