January 1, Collegiate Transgender Sprinter Shatters Records in Women’s Division

Published

on

A transgender sprinter, formerly known as Camden Schreiner and now going by Sadie Schreiner, has switched from competing against males in high school to joining the women’s track and field team at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

Earlier this month, Schreiner set a new school record in the 300m dash with a time of 41.80 seconds, as announced on RIT’s track and field Instagram page. The comments on the post have been turned off by the school.

Schreiner, who identifies as transgender, is now only referred to as “Sadie Rose” on RIT’s athletics website. Rochester radio host Bob Lonsberry pointed out that Schreiner would have landed in 41st place if he were still competing against males. Social media reactions were mixed following Schreiner’s win against female athletes.

Popular social media account “Libs of TikTok” questioned why RIT is allowing a man to steal women’s track records, while former collegiate swimmer-turned-advocate Riley Gaines mocked trans activists’ claims that transgender athletes almost “never” beat out female athletes, particularly after swapping male for female teams.

Gaines recently testified before Congress to aggressively defend Title IX, rejecting the Biden administration’s proposed rewrite of the law, which would effectively broaden the definition of sex to include “gender identity.”

The proposed changes would rewrite Title IX in such a way that policies banning biological males who identify as trans from competing with or against females would now be in violation of the law. This could strip a school of its funding and would be applied to public K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions that receive federal funding.

Gaines highlighted the potential risks to women, including losing opportunities, being exploited in locker rooms, and facing a greater risk of injury.

Why It Matters (op-ed)

Sadie Schreiner’s recent record-breaking performance in women’s track highlights the ongoing debate surrounding transgender athletes in sports. As a former male competitor, Schreiner’s success raises concerns about fairness in competition.

The Biden administration’s proposed rewrite of Title IX, which would broaden the definition of sex to include “gender identity,” threatens to exacerbate this issue. If passed, this change could force schools to allow biological males who identify as transgender to compete against females, potentially putting women at a disadvantage.

Riley Gaines’ testimony before Congress emphasizes the risks to women, including lost opportunities and increased risk of injury. Ultimately, this debate raises questions about the balance between inclusivity and ensuring a level playing field for all athletes.

Biological males are stronger and faster than biological females, therefore, they DO have an advantage over female competitors. If you really want to be fair, then create a division exclusively for trans athletes, this would even the playing field. But then, everyone knows that they do not want this, for they would lose their advantage. They do not want fair.

I am all for a separate category for Trans athletes. They can still compete in whichever event they wish, but the Victory, Place, and Time would be recorded in a ‘Transgender Category’. So, Male Female, Trans groups.

This is total absurd insanity. This transcript should not even be a discussion and a normal conversation. These girls work their tails of from a very young age to become the best in their sport, and this anti American , anti normalcy administration of ours thinks it’s OK for some guy to come along and compete with them on the same level. This is total insanity, and this country is going straight down the drain.

If a separate group is not created for this matter it will end up being decided at the Supreme Court of The United States of America in a worst case situation.

Women should stand up for their sport and walk off every time a man tries to enter their event, if the sponsors are losing money they will put a stop to this madness

Mark, I agree. He should not be with the women. The NCAA and all other sports now have to create a transgender event. It is not fair to the women who have worked so hard all of their lives training to compete against other women of the same ilk.

we should follow the WBC “Never will a male fight a female in our arena”
If transgenders want to fight each other, swim against each other, run against each other, fine,
    let’s make it fair!!

This is BS and RIT should be ashamed to promote this. I’m sure someone down there knows a girl from a guy . I’ve lost my respect for RIT big time .

This is such a fun topic. Women screaming “unfairness”! Hell, most of these women do not remember the 1960-1970’s when women recruited gay, lesbian, and transgender people to support their cause to be able to compete in male sports! Yes, as long as the unfairness benefited women it was ok with women. Now that the trannies are eating women’s lunch, suddenly it is unfair!!!

Lets change the law that men compete with men only. Women compete with women only. Trannies compete with trannies only. This is a simple change that would eliminate all of the confusion and unfairness to each gender!

Since when has fairness, integrity and honor had anythging to do with liberals. They feal the rules, the law and common sense do not apply to them. As long as we coddle these arrogant, entitlement monsters they will continue to steal our freedoms and tarnish our world. Live your life however you please as long as you dont hurt anyone. This hurts women, trans recruitment and indoctrination hurts children. They see these as acceptable casualties in their war on decency.

I am SHOCKED that the males teams are not laughing him into sucicide! I would be humiliated if I were a male and competed on a female team and won against a group of females. I would be a male and no better than a female. What a laughing stock!

They claim to b women so they can win because they can t win against other men…so yes, lets have male, female and transgender events so they can compete against themselves where the competition will be fair!

What ever happened to those that ”Identified” as Napoleon? Women of the Sports World Assert your sex. Do not let men rule you again. You’ve worked too hard already.

If you were born with a Dick no amount of Drugs,Chemicals or even Surgeries will ever change that Fact. It’s disgusting to think of your own Daughter being forced to share the same locker room and showers with a naked male dangling his willy for them all to see. I agree 100% that no male or Trans should ever be in the same events with biological females. Since they can’t beat men and females have Zero chances of beating a man give those Transsexuals their very own competition’s where only Transsexuals can compete and give them a separate locker room and shower area. Just because someone says they are Trans doesn’t mean they don’t have a underlying severe mental illness.
