January 1, Unhinged Activist Sends Poisoned Letter to Trump
In a deeply unsettling assault on free speech and political discourse, a self-proclaimed “activist” from Quebec, Pascale Ferrier, admitted to sending a poisoned letter to former U.S. President Donald Trump during his 2020 re-election campaign.
Ferrier, 56, was sentenced to nearly 22 years in prison for her alarming act, shining a spotlight on the increasingly violent tactics some individuals are willing to employ against political figures they disagree with.
Ferrier’s claims of being a mere “activist” rang hollow when one considers the malicious intent behind her actions.
The intercepted letter, addressed to President Trump, was laced with homemade ricin, a deadly poison she concocted in her Montreal residence.
The note referred to the former President as an “ugly tyrant clown” and boldly encouraged him to abandon his quest for a second term.
During her court hearing, Ferrier attempted to minimize her actions, declaring in her pronounced Parisian French accent, “It was never my intention to harm innocent people. And in fact, I did not harm anyone.”
Yet, the chilling details of the case tell a different story.
Her case has exposed a disconcerting double standard. Ferrier maintains that she merely saw her actions as a form of “activism.”
But D.C. district court Judge Dabney Friedrich emphasized the stark inconsistency between Ferrier’s declared intent and her radical actions.
“It’s almost like two different personalities,” the judge said.
Assistant U.S. attorney Michael Friedman pointedly commented on the egregious nature of Ferrier’s act.
“There is absolutely no place for politically motivated violence in the United States of America, a nation of laws where the people choose our leaders by voting,” he said.
Ferrier’s antics didn’t stop at the poisoned letter addressed to Trump.
She was found guilty on a total of nine biological weapons charges, eight of which are related to similar venomous letters dispatched to police and prison officials in Texas.
When she was arrested at the Canada-U.S. border in September 2020, authorities discovered she was armed to the teeth.
Ferrier was found with a loaded handgun, almost 300 rounds of ammunition, a stun gun, pepper spray, a truncheon, and a counterfeit Texas driver’s license.
This stockpile raises alarming questions about what other plans she may have had.
Bottom Line
This incident serves as a grim reminder of the lengths to which some individuals will go to stifle and threaten voices with which they disagree.
While Ferrier will spend the next two decades behind bars, the chilling effect of her actions on political discourse will linger for years to come.
In a nation built on the principles of free speech and open debate, acts like this not only target individuals but the very core of American democracy.

One handgun and 300 rounds, a stun gun, pepper spray, and a club is a stockpile?
A true stockpile would’ve included a revolver, pistol, rimfire rifle, regular rifle, and shotgun, all with no less than 1000 rounds of ammunition, along with the pepper spray, stun gun, and a small utility knife along with a good hunting knife. At least that’d be a beginning.

I suggest , “ALL Activists” be cordially invited to the local rifle range. There , they can “Hold” our targets for target practice .
Of course these “Activists” would have to undergo range safety , gun safety , and rules of the range. We certainly do not want any inadvertent accidents to occur.
Perhaps Alec Baldwin can “share” his expertise on gun safety.
As an added question , how did this “woman” concoct “HOMEMADE RICIN”????

Only 22 years in prison, we have people that have threatened Biden, and the FBI came crashing down their doors at 6 am! And many them got life in federal prison, no parole for threatening a president, although I would NEVER call Biden a president! This hag thing did attempt to physically kill our true president Trump and only gets 22 years with possible parole?! BS!
