George Washington’s Continental Army, assisted by the French Navy and Army, defeats British Gen. Cornwallis at the battle of Yorktown.

Good morning Middle Americans!

There’s a lot on President Trump’s plate these days.  Congress’s impeachment probe looms looms large, the Middle East is on fire, but our commander-in-chief is threatening a lawsuit against CNN.  Just keep in mind that the president of the United States has very little protection from a lawsuit like the one he is proposing.  As for CNN, I’m reminded of the late-great NFL coach Dennis Green who, at a post game press conference, once said: “THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!”.  There’s lots of options out there for news including us. Don’t be victimized by the big corporate media. You always have the option of changing the channel. This is still a free country, for now.

Meanwhile, things are getting chippy over on the Democrats 2020 campaign trail. 2016 Loser Hillary Clinton accused 2020 Candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian asset. Gabbard’s response was 100% awesome.  Speaking of getting boom roasted, President Trump’s former Secretary of Defense James Mattis blasted his old boss from the Al Smith Charity dinner in NYC.  The event is known for these kinds of jokes, but Mattis’s roast of Trump was a little extra saucy.

Finally, I doubt there are many Trump voters are watching Morning Joe these days, but if they are I have every right to be pissed off after he called them stupid.  I mean, what do these guys still not understand about the MAGA movement. Guys like Scarborough, who served in Congress but failed to get anything significant done.  That’s the reason why so many people call him ‘Morning Joke”

(Reuters) – Lawyers for U.S. President Donald Trump and his re-election campaign have threatened in a letter to sue CNN for what they said was the network falsely advertising itself as a news organization, calling on executives to first discuss an “appropriate resolution” to the matter that would include a “substantial” payment to cover damages.

Tulsi Gabbard Calls Out Clinton ‘Warmongering,’ Treason Smear

(NY Post) – Rep. Tulsi Gabbard blasted Hillary Clinton Friday — calling the former first lady “the queen of warmongers” after Clinton implied the Russians were “grooming” the Hawaii congresswoman as an asset.

“Thank you @HillaryClinton,” tweeted Gabbard, who is vying to win the Democratic primary.

“You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain.”

Joe Scarborough: Trump Voters Need ‘to Not Be Dumb’

(FOX News) – MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough urged supporters of President Trump to be more informed, saying Friday they have a responsibility to watch the news and “to not be stupid.”

The Trump-bashing “Morning Joe” host was reacting to former Obama economic adviser Steve Rattner who called out several of Trump’s claims about the Kurds in Syria at his Texas rally Thursday night. Rattner took issue with Trump claiming the Kurds were “very happy” about Thursday’s cease-fire, which according to reports was already in question Friday morning.

Jim Mattis Fires Back at President Trump for “Overrated” Insult

(CBS News) – Former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, who has largely shied away from the spotlight since leaving office last December, took aim at President Trump in a speech at the 74th Annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York Thursday night.

“I earned my spurs on the battlefield … Donald Trump earned his spurs in a letter from a doctor,” Mattis joked at one point, in a reference to the medical deferment for bone spurs that kept Mr. Trump from serving in the military during the Vietnam War.
