January 1, Controversial Video: Woman Allegedly Runs Over NYPD Officer
A shocking incident unfolded in Manhattan, New York, on Wednesday, when a woman allegedly struck a New York Police Department (NYPD) officer with her car intentionally, according to the New York Post (NYP). The woman, identified as 24-year-old Sahara Dula, was driving in the Upper East Side near an unrelated crime scene involving a group that allegedly stole from a high-end clothing store.
As police were blocking off the alleged thieves’ getaway car, another officer noticed Dula driving on the wrong side of the road, according to the NYP. When the officer told her to pull over, Dula allegedly hit him with her black Lexus. The incident was caught on camera by another driver’s dash cam, with photos from the NYP appearing to show the officer flying over the hood of the car. Other officers can be seen rushing to his aid in the video.

Dula allegedly told investigators, “I told the cop I wanted to go straight, and he wouldn’t move, so I hit him. I did it on purpose,” citing court documents. She also allegedly screamed, “F–k these cops! He wouldn’t move!” and added, “F–k these cops, it’s a lesson to him, and hopefully he doesn’t want to be a cop anymore,” according to a source who spoke with the NYP.
The New York Police Benevolent Association (PBA) expressed their concern on Twitter, stating, “Another night, another hospital emergency room, this time with our brother police officer who was run down on the Upper East Side.” They continued, “Thankfully he will be OK, but we need all NYers to help us protect the cops who protect your neighborhood.” The officer involved suffered a fractured leg and arm, according to NBC New York.
Dula has been charged with vehicular assault, impaired driving, and reckless endangerment, as reported by the NYP. However, PBA president Patrick Hendry questioned why Dula wasn’t charged with attempted murder during an NBC interview, which the organization shared on Twitter.

I agree she is a threat to society and should be charged with attempted murder. There is no excuse to do something like that. She definitely needs life in prison.
On another note, this is a good reason to deport a lot of the illegals in this country. If you do a crime you are gone.
