January 1, Biden, Harris see sharp decline in poll numbers
President Joe Biden’s approval rating dropped to 41 percent in a recent USA Today/Suffolk poll. His Real Clear Politics (RCP) average is now 46.6 percent.
The drop comes as Americans by more than 2-1 say that the war in Afghanistan wasn’t worth it. According to the poll, three out of four people predict that the nation will soon become a haven for terrorists targeting the US.
55 percent of those polled say they disapprove of Biden’s job as president. Just last week, the commander-in-chief’s approval rating was over 50 percent.
Vice President Kamala Harris’s approval ratings also took a dip. A recent Rasmussen Reports survey shows 55 percent of voters say Harris is either “not qualified” or “not at all qualified” to assume the duties of the president.
