January 1, Former White House Doctor Calls Omicron ‘The Midterm Election Variant’
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who previously served as White House doctor under former presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, claimed the new coronavirus variant is a trick so the Democrats can gain an advantage in the midterm elections.
“Here comes the MEV – the Midterm Election Variant! They NEED a reason to push unsolicited nationwide mail-in ballots. Democrats will do anything to CHEAT during an election – but we’re not going to let them!” Jackson wrote on Twitter.
Jackson referred to the new coronavirus variant, omicron, which the World Health Organization (WHO) dubbed a “Variant of concern” on Friday. WHO officials said the new variant poses a “very high” risk worldwide but noted there is still much to learn about the strain.
According to Changing America, a report from the Pentagon’s inspector general found that Jackson engaged in “inappropriate conduct” during his time as White House doctor. Jackson used alcohol while on the job and created a toxic work environment by disparaging, belittling, bullying, and humiliating subordinates, the report said.
