January 1, Scandal Explodes Over University of Washington Hiding Professor’s China Military Ties

Wyatt’s Take
- University of Washington hid a professor’s work for a Chinese military company
- Pentagon money kept flowing even after the connection came to light
- Working families are tired of schools putting foreign interests ahead of American security
A University of Washington professor with ties to a Chinese military-linked firm kept getting Pentagon research cash after the school scrubbed those connections from his public record.
The Daily Caller News Foundation found the scrubbed details. The professor had listed himself as chief scientist at a company flagged by the Pentagon for its military ties.
“worked as chief scientist”
University officials removed the China connection from his profile page but never told the Defense Department about the conflict.
Critics say the move shows how some schools care more about foreign money than American safety.
