The company was reportedly shopping around for roughly 400,000 square feet of office space in the Tennessee capital.
California officials have kept up legal pressure against the merger, creating fresh headaches for entertainment businesses already dealing with high costs and heavy regulations.
Tennessee leaders have been courting film and media companies with lower taxes and fewer rules, making the state an attractive alternative for operations looking to expand or relocate.

For all the idiots in California, when the government is too busy spending money on illegal aliens, they have to find another way to bring in revenue. I guess they figure they’ll just hit up the production companies for more taxes and regulations that require permits to operate the business. Gavin Newsom has squandered California. He has fucked it into a coma. Wasteful spending has caused all this and he doesn’t care about the people of California. I lived in California for 58 years, and with $400 electric bills I just couldn’t do it anymore. That’s why everyone is vacating the state of California. I say kudos to Paramount for screwing your head on right and making a move that will benefit you. California is finished, and the politicians just don’t realize it I guess. Look at LA. Gavin Newsom took $1 billion from the federal government to address homelessness. It’s only gotten worse in LA. I really don’t see how a piece of trash like Gavin Newsom has even been allowed to remain in office, but it just goes to show you how stupid Californians are. They keep putting the same trash in office so they get what they deserve.
