January 1, Boebert Draws Criticism For Comparing Ukraine to Freedom Convoy
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) drew criticism after comparing Canada’s “Freedom Convoy” to Ukraine.
“I pray for Ukraine, and I wish them the best. They have a great president right now who has really said clearly, ‘Live free or die.’ He said, ‘I don’t need a ride, give me ammunition. The fight is right here,'” Boebert told Fox Nation while attending the Conservative Political Action Conference.
“But we also have neighbors to the north who need freedom and need to be liberated, and we need that right here at home as well.”
A former U.S. ambassador to Canada called the comments “reckless” and “dangerous.”
Anthony Housefather, a Liberal member of the Canadian parliament, told Boebert that “while it’s good that you are not following the Trump line and are standing with Ukraine instead of Putin, it is sad to hear you compare free and democratic Canada to the invasion of Ukraine.”

I think she’s right. Trudeau is acting like a Dictator. Confiscating people’s bank accounts & declaring The Emergency Act to take away the Truckers ability to peacefully protest. To call in mercenaries to clear out the protesters & most of all refusing to even meet with them. He’s a Tyrant. Canada is unrecognizable. It’s very sad.

It’s not the same. The only aspect is the Freedom aspect. Otherwise the people of the Ukraine are fighting for their lives and their country. There is no one here in the U.S. and in Canada fighting for their life. while True, Putin is a dictator, so is (Napoleon) Trudeau, Lying Corrupt Quid Pro KING Joe, and even Trump was bitten by the bug from president Xi of Communist China. Maybe one day American people will be fighting for their lives in a 2nd American Revolution against the liberal commie Democrats. The sooner the better.
