January 1, Trump Ceasefire Signals a Hard Turn in Iran Strategy

Wyatt’s Take
- Secretary Pete Hegseth framed Operation Epic Fury as a decisive U.S. and Israeli victory over Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities.
- The administration said Iran sought a ceasefire after missile attacks failed to halt American forces.
- Hegseth also said Trump spared Iran’s energy infrastructure while warning the regime it could face even harsher strikes.
Operation Epic Fury has effectively ended the 47-year threat posed by the radicals in Tehran who chanted for our destruction.
Hegseth said Iran can no longer build missiles or drones because their factories have been razed to the ground.
"Iran has been a threat to the United States and free world for 47 years. Chants of ‘Death to America,’ targeting our people, killing Americans, lying and blackmailing toward a nuclear weapon, or so they thought. No longer. Not on our watch," Hegseth said.
The Secretary said the military was prepared to target power plants and bridges if the regime had not accepted the ceasefire terms.
Instead, the administration opened a path toward peace after showing the world what American capability looks like.
"What little they have left buried in bunkers is all they will have. They can still shoot, we know that," Hegseth continued.
Hegseth also honored the seven American heroes lost to hostile action during the operation.
He praised their grit and sacrifice.
He credited divine providence for the success of tens of thousands of sorties that protected American warriors during the mission.
"I’m proud of you. We’re proud of you. The president is proud of you. Job well done," Hegseth said.
It is time the rest of our allies took notes on what true leadership and military resolve look like.
Wyatt Matters
Middle Americans know that a strong border and a strong military are essential to keeping families safe from global threats.
When America leads with strength, the rest of the world is forced to listen.

After 47 years have you not learned? Iran only ‘negotiates’ to find breathing room while they reconstruct. No one is ever going to get those savage Satanic Nazis to give up their nuclear ambitions. Nothing and no one will be able to do it. That is the sole reason for that regime to survive. Unless the US has access to each and every site, enforces the complete withdrawal of all nuclear fuel, the destruction of all missiles, drones, and the like. The confiscation or destruction of all centrifuges and the confiscation of all paperwork, and arrest of all of their scientists, you are just mowing the lawn, kicking the can down the road, and, most of all, letting them know that, as they already know, they can wait out anything and still fight another day.

the only way iran does not keep trying to build nuclear weapons is the united nations sends a team of investigators to keep tab on any activities, like japan and germany, military forces kept these nations from rebuilding and live peacefully.

Iran has shown they could have nukes if they wanted them. This whole article doesn’t ring true. Iran hasn’t attacked or invaded any country in over 300 years. Why would they start now? We started this …* Israel is the instigator …have you not seen the polls? We the People don’t want this war with Iran.

JCPOA…why cancel that if you are worried about nukes?….why not inspect Israel? WE know they have nukes
Bombing people to free them is insane.

While I support the president’s handling of the Iranian conflict I have serious reservations about leaving the IRC and the Mullahs in charge. We are just kicking the can down the road.
