Wyatt’s Take

  • Over one billion barrels of oil moved through the Strait of Hormuz in just weeks while Iran sat on the sidelines
  • America’s naval presence kept the vital waterway open for the world, not just one regime
  • Energy security and steady prices matter more to working families than foreign political games

The U.S. Central Command confirmed that more than one billion barrels of crude oil have moved through the Strait of Hormuz in recent months. Iran sent none of it thanks to the American naval blockade still in place.

“More than 1 billion barrels of crude oil have passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the last couple of months, though Iran has exported none due to the United States’ naval blockade,” CENTCOM stated.

That volume keeps gas prices from spiking at the pump for families across the heartland. It also shows that American sailors are doing the real work of protecting global trade routes while one nation tries to hold the world hostage.

Energy independence starts with keeping sea lanes open and prices stable. When Washington stays strong, working Americans do not pay the price at the grocery store or the gas station.

Keeping energy affordable and supply lines secure is a kitchen-table issue that decides whether paychecks stretch or shrink every month.
