January 1, Bijan Robinson Delivers Primetime Masterpieces

Wyatt’s Take
- Bijan Robinson is turning heads and silencing doubters with back-to-back dominant performances on national television.
- The Atlanta Falcons are proving that hard work and traditional values still win in the NFL.
- Team-first mentality and strong leadership are bringing America the kind of football fans love.
When the schedule dropped, folks rolled their eyes at three straight primetime games for the Atlanta Falcons. The team had started with a third-string quarterback and sat at 0-2, hardly the recipe for must-watch TV.
But the NFL has a funny way of giving teams a fresh chance every week. That is exactly what the Falcons are doing, and now they are appointment viewing.
The reason sits in the backfield wearing number seven. Bijan Robinson has turned the conversation around in a hurry.
In Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers, Robinson exploded for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Last week against the New Orleans Saints, he followed it up with 145 yards and two more scores on just 19 carries.
His first touch of the night went 59 yards for a touchdown. He hit 21 miles an hour on that run and barely looked like he was trying. Later he finished the first quarter with a tough four-yard touchdown that broke the Saints’ spirit.
“I love the Primetime games under the lights. It brings out a different energy, and I just love this team,” Bijan Robinson said after the game.
Backup Brian Robinson Jr. chipped in three touchdowns and 62 yards. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. stayed efficient, completing 15 of 20 passes for 223 yards and a score. Wide receiver Drake London added five catches for 96 yards.
The offensive line and defense are doing their part, keeping the ball in the hands of the playmakers. That teamwork has Atlanta sitting at 2-2 and looking forward to Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Falcons are reminding folks that the best way to win is the old-fashioned way: run the ball, block your man, and play with heart.
Wyatt Matters
Hard work, discipline, and putting the team first still matter in America, and that is exactly what fans are seeing from this Atlanta squad.
