Wyatt’s Take

  • Activists call US action in Venezuela ‘imperialist aggression’
  • Far-left groups link Venezuela and Palestine as one struggle
  • Calls for protest and resistance spread across cities

Pro-Palestinian groups are lashing out after US forces detained Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and struck targets around Caracas. They call the move an act of “imperialist aggression” and tie it to what they claim is a US-Israel push for domination.

Some activists urge protests and “direct action” across America and the world. Groups like Within Our Lifetime claim Venezuela and Gaza are united in their fight against US power, arguing that American action “destabilizes peoples fighting for self-governance.”

The Palestinian BDS National Committee slammed the US, saying it’s part of a “genocidal US-Israel axis.” The group denounced the operation as a crime against Venezuela’s people and a violation of international law.

“To free Palestine, then, is to free all of the peoples of the world,” their statement said.

Campus activists and far-left organizations called the arrests “terror” and accused the US of kidnapping Maduro. They called for more protests, saying the US is fueling global conflict.

“We condemn… all acts of terror committed by the United States and its proxies,” one group said. Former Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez was quoted as saying, “Go to hell, Yankee shits, here stands a dignified people. Go to hell a hundred times, we are the sons of Bolivar!”

Other radical groups described the operation as part of “one war against the people of the world,” urging more street demonstrations and warning that the US is the enemy of nations seeking freedom.

In cities like New York and Philadelphia, protesters waved Palestinian flags and signs saying “Free Pres. Nicolás Maduro” and “No War on Venezuela.” Statements from groups like Hamas and Hezbollah praised Venezuela and called for “armed struggle” against the US action.

Another Palestinian group called the move “brutal U.S. imperialist behavior” and called for protests at American embassies. They said, “As in Palestine… in Venezuela, they shall not prevail!” They urged freedom-loving people everywhere to mobilize for Venezuela.

Leaders from Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas also weighed in, blaming America for fueling unrest and warning that the operation showed dangerous imperialist ambitions.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine called the strike “organized American terrorism against sovereign states,” saying it was similar to moves against Palestinians. Hezbollah echoed these complaints, blasting US actions as “terrorist aggression.”

Americans see activist groups team up with repressive regimes, blaming the US for problems caused by socialist dictators. The Middle American worker knows who really pays the price when foreign radicals call for chaos on our streets.
