Wyatt’s Take

  • An Ohio family says a stranger entered their driveway late at night and began acting erratically.
  • Police say the suspect threatened the father and pulled out a knife during the confrontation.
  • Authorities arrested 23-year-old Anthony Long on multiple charges after the incident.

Tiffany Miller said a man drove into her family’s driveway with his lights off after midnight. Surveillance video reportedly showed the suspect kneeling to pray before he began pounding on the front door.

“I woke up and walked up thinking my daughter was locked out and, nope, it wasn’t her,” Miller said. “It was a man I didn’t know.”

When the father went outside to confront the stranger, the situation turned violent instantly. The suspect reportedly shouted a religious threat and pulled out a knife.

“I’ll kill you in the name of Allah,” the suspect reportedly told the father.

The father managed to retreat and warned his daughter to flee the scene in her vehicle. The suspect allegedly chased after the girl’s car before being apprehended by local authorities.

Anthony Long now faces charges of aggravated menacing, trespassing, and criminal damage.

He remains in the Warren County Jail with several bail amounts totaling over $75,000.

The family said they were relieved no one was physically harmed during the late-night encounter. They credited their home security system and quick thinking for helping prevent a tragedy.
