Good morning Middle Americans.

Let’s all say a prayer for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. She’s back in the hospital with flu like symptoms. Ginsberg’s health is the subject of much anxiety for Democrats. President Trumps already has had two confirmations to the High Court. Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Justice Neil Gorsuch. A third nomination and confirmation means Trump would have filled a third of the Supreme Court’s seats.  This, after having already filled hundreds of federal judge positions with conservative appointees.  No matter what happens to Ginsberg, and we are all hoping and praying for a speedy recovery, the Trump administration and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have already remade the federal judiciary from the inside out and for decades to come.

Also today, Rudy Giuliani is gonna Giuliani. No one knows if he’s crazy, or crazy like a fox. You should watch his wild interview with Fox News.  We have a link below. He’s really stepped in it, again. Finally we have an interesting take from The Hill on a potential Democratic ticket that might make the Trump 2020 team sweat.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg Hospitalized for Fever, Chills

(AP) – Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized after experiencing chills and fever, the court said Saturday.

In a statement, the court’s public information office said Ginsburg was admitted Friday night to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington before being transferred to Johns Hopkins for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection.

With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms abated and she expected to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning, the statement said.

Giuliani Says Biden Documents to Be Released ‘If I Disappear’

(Bloomberg) – Rudy Giuliani, a focus of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump’s foreign policy dealings in Ukraine, suggested on Twitter that he has dirt on the Biden family that would be released were he to get into trouble.

Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, also described as “sarcastic” a statement he made recently about having “an insurance policy” should he fall out of favor with the president.

That followed an interview with Fox News during which he was asked whether Trump might soon conclude that Giuliani is a liability, and throw him “under the bus.”

“This is ridiculous,” Giuliani, 75, said. “We are very good friends. He knows what I did was in order to defend him, not to dig up dirt on Biden.”

The Democratic Ticket Trump Doesn’t Want In 2020

(The Hill) – Pete Buttigieg’s recent popularity surge in Iowa and New Hampshire has many speculating that President Trump could face a Democratic ticket in 2020 that he doesn’t want and fears the most — the South Bend, Ind., mayor and another candidate recently in the spotlight, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.

Despite what the “experts” might say, it’s certainly possible.

Like weather forecasters and economists, political pundits often are proved embarrassingly wrong. Voters from both parties have a tendency to recalibrate rather quickly, and quite unexpectedly, toward candidates they believe actually might have a chance of winning.
