A CSU board meeting turned into a shouting match Tuesday after schools announced a lawsuit against the feds.

San Jose State violated Title IX by letting a trans player compete in women’s volleyball from 2022 to 2024.

Angry alumni and residents blasted the decision to fight U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon’s warning of funding cuts.

The fact that I have to get up here and have to say that trans women are women and that’s what I have to use my time to do is absurd. Shame on you. Shame on all of you,

A CSU worker yelled at save women’s sports speakers.

And shame on you for using lesbian politics as a front for your transphobia because this lesbian has had plenty of girlfriends with penises, she added.

Save women’s sports activist Beth Bourne spoke directly to trans listeners.

Anyone who is listening who is transgender or nonbinary. You’ve been lied to. They’re making money off of your body, Bourne said.

If you’re taking cross-sex hormones, you’re harming yourself. You’re permanently harming yourself. And just remember your mother and your father love you, she urged.

An SJSU alumna told the board straight up.

Males cannot become females. Everyone understands this in sports, she declared.

ICONS treasurer Alison Foote called the lawsuit an embarrassment.

This is CSU-sanctioned sexual abuse of the women you are obligated to protect, Foote stated.

SJSU President Cynthia Teniente-Matson claims the feds got the facts wrong. She says the suit protects vital funding.

McMahon gave them 10 days to back down or face enforcement, including Justice Department referral.

Time to stand up for girls’ sports in every statehouse and school board. Contact your reps and demand Title IX protection now.
