Wyatt’s Take

  • American forces are keeping our energy routes open while Iran sits on the sidelines with zero exports.
  • One billion barrels have moved safely through the Strait of Hormuz thanks to the blockade holding firm.
  • Energy security is back on track under strong leadership that puts American interests first.

U.S. forces have supported the passage of more than one billion barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz in recent months while Iran has exported none under Washington’s “ironclad blockade,” U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) chief Adm. Brad Cooper announced Saturday.

The blockade is working exactly as planned. Oil is moving freely for our allies and partners while Tehran stays locked out.

Energy independence matters to every family filling up at the pump. When American strength keeps critical sea lanes open, prices stay steady and jobs stay secure.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America depends on stable energy prices and secure trade routes. When our military stands firm against adversaries, working families win.
