Erika Kirk spoke on national television just before stepping on stage at the University of Mississippi, saying she senses her late husband Charlie Kirk is still with her.

“He’s up in heaven orchestrating and sitting and strategizing, and I can just feel it,” she told Fox News.

The event marked Erika Kirk’s first appearance on the Turning Point USA college tour since her husband’s death, with Vice President JD Vance joining her for the stop in Oxford, Mississippi.

When asked about Charlie’s legacy, she explained that he left her a blueprint and shared his vision through his journals and dreams.

She also described a touching family moment, sharing that “God Bless the USA” is her daughter’s nightly lullaby.

“This song is so sweet because my daughter sings this every night,” she explained. “She’s watching, and I know that she’s going to be singing along to this.”

Just days after Charlie Kirk was killed, Erika took over as CEO of Turning Point USA, the movement he started in 2012.

She pledged to press on for Charlie, saying, “All I want is to be able to make sure we honor Charlie, we keep fighting the good fight, and we do it in such a bold and powerful way. We’re not afraid. I’m not afraid.”

This appearance was her first interview since losing her husband seven weeks ago.
