Good Morning Middle Americans.

So acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney goes out on Thursday and basically admits that they withheld aide money from Ukraine, in lieu of an investigation of the DNC’s hacked server by Ukraine.  This is what has had Nancy Pelosi’s Democrats all lathered up these past two weeks. And Mulvaney admits to it. Then he has to walk it back. “Get over it,” he says. We’ll see if they can, but don’t count on it.

Meanwhile, the whole reason for that news conference was to announce that the 2020 G-7 Summit would be held at Trump’s Doral Resort near Miami.  That won’t be happening any more. Trump has reversed course on his decision amid massive backlash from basically everyone outside his inner circle.  Another bone-headed move from our dear president. So much promise. So many distractions.

But let’s be honest, it might not even matter. I’m sure you’ve seen the size of Trump’s rallies. They are YUGER than 2016. The only person in the D’s side who has come close to the size of one of Trump’s rallies is Bernie Sanders. The Senator from Vermont packed about 26,000 people into a rally in Brooklyn. AOC was there… looks like it was quite a scene.

How do we feel about combat veterans, with green cards who get deported?  Since the Trump administration started cracking down on illegal immigrants, combat veterans who have been arrested after their service are getting swept up in the dragnet. That’s what happened to Jose Segovia Benitez, a decorated Marine who will be sent back to El Salvador, facing almost certain death, unless something changes.

Finally, a brutal reminder of how precious life is. A wild story from Alabama about a man, his dog and a fatal four wheeler ride.

Trump Reverses Course on Hosting G-7 at Doral

(Axios) – President Trump announced on Twitter Saturday night that he would no longer host next year’s G7 summit at his Doral resort in Miami, but doubled down on defending the decision amid bipartisan backlash.

“I thought I was doing something very good for our Country by using Trump National Doral, in Miami, for hosting the G-7 Leaders. It is big, grand, on hundreds of acres, next to MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, has tremendous ballrooms & meeting rooms, and each delegation would have its own 50 to 70 unit building. Would set up better than other alternatives. I announced that I would be willing to do it at NO PROFIT or, if legally permissible, at ZERO COST to the USA. But, as usual, the Hostile Media & their Democrat Partners went CRAZY!”

Bernie Sanders’ NYC Rally: Largest of Dem Primary Campaign

(Washington Examiner) – Bernie Sanders’s campaign rally in New York City brought in nearly 26,000 attendants, making it the largest audience of the entire Democratic primary thus far.

At the “Bernie is Back” event in Queens, the Vermont senator sought to fight back against concerns that his White House run is in jeopardy following his heart attack earlier this month. The rally featured a number of high-profile speakers who offered their endorsements, including liberal filmmaker Michael Moore and Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Marine Combat Vet with PTSD Faces Deportation

(NBC News) – Supporters of a Marine combat veteran who served in Iraq are calling on the California governor to help stop his imminent deportation to El Salvador, a country he left at 3 years old.

Jose Segovia Benitez, 38, served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1999-2004 and was deployed to Iraq, receiving multiple awards and decorations during his service, according to Marine and military records. His rib cage is tattooed with large Statue of Liberty.

Wild News: Dog Runs Over Owner with Four-Wheeler

(WKRG) — A man was injured in a four-wheeler accident off Highway 59 in Loxley Thursday.

A man was airlifted to the hospital after he was run over by his own four-wheeler near the Bunny Bread Outlet. Police say the man had his dog tied to the four-wheeler, and the dog tried to run off, pushing the throttle and causing the four-wheeler to hit the man.

Highway 59 was shut down momentarily as the man was airlifted to a local hospital.
