Wyatt’s Take

  • Ana Kasparian blasted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for what she called weak voting decisions.
  • The criticism centered on claims that fiery speeches have not matched her actual votes.
  • The backlash shows growing frustration from some on the left over political inconsistency.

Social media erupted after Kasparian took a sharp tone against the New York representative. She expressed frustration over what she sees as inconsistent foreign policy decisions.

“I’m sick of AOC being incredibly weak on things that she shouldn’t be weak on,” Kasparian said.

Kasparian pointed to specific instances where she believes the congresswoman backed down. She argued that fiery speeches mean nothing if the votes do not follow through.

“No one can force you to change your vote,” Kasparian said.

“You changed your vote because you got a little bit of pressure,” she added.

The host framed the situation as a failure to meet the expectations of the voters who put her in office. She suggested that Ocasio-Cortez is doing the opposite of what she was elected to do.

“I love your fiery speeches. They’re great. They don’t do anything though,” Kasparian said.

“When push comes to shove, and you have an opportunity to show us that you’re going to do something with your vote, in the very least, you cave,” she added.

We saw all that we needed to see when AOC went to Europe and could not answer simple questions. This is what happens when voters choose rhetoric over competency. The Democrat Party flag should be emblazoned with “D . . . E . . . I”. The tent gets filled mightily . . . but not with competent administrators, government representatives for the people, or even a Vice President of Supreme Court Justice. Sad.
