January 1, DISASTER: Senate Candidate’s Jaw-Dropping Security CONFESSION Caught on Camera

Wyatt’s Take
- A South Carolina Senate hopeful just admitted on live debate TV she’s ‘not that informed’ on national security — one of the most critical jobs of any senator
- This is the caliber of candidate the Democrats are running while claiming Republicans aren’t qualified to serve
- Middle America deserves leaders who take our safety seriously, not politicians learning on the job while our enemies watch
A stunning moment of honesty — or incompetence — unfolded during a South Carolina Democratic Senate primary debate when candidate Darline Graham admitted she wasn’t informed enough to answer a basic national security question.
The confession came during a critical exchange about one of the fundamental responsibilities of any U.S. Senator: protecting American lives and interests on the world stage.
Q: Are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States?

“I’m not that informed on national security,” Graham said during the debate.
The admission raises serious questions about candidate vetting and preparation in Democratic primaries across the country. National security isn’t some niche policy area — it’s literally part of the Senate’s constitutional duty.
Senators vote on defense budgets worth hundreds of billions of dollars. They confirm military leaders and intelligence chiefs. They authorize military operations that put American troops in harm’s way. And they’re briefed on classified threats facing our nation every single day.
This isn’t the first time Democratic candidates have stumbled over foreign policy and defense questions. But admitting complete ignorance during a debate — when candidates have weeks or months to prepare — shows either stunning arrogance or a fundamental misunderstanding of the job.
South Carolina voters deserve better than candidates who treat the United States Senate like an entry-level position where you learn as you go. Our enemies in Beijing, Moscow, and Tehran certainly aren’t taking time off while politicians figure out the basics.
The Senate race in South Carolina has drawn national attention as Republicans work to maintain and expand their majority. Moments like this one make the contrast crystal clear between candidates who are ready for the responsibility and those who simply aren’t.
Graham’s honesty may be refreshing in an era of political spin, but it’s also disqualifying. National security isn’t optional reading for senators — it’s the foundation of everything else we do as a country.
Why This Matters
Working families across America need leaders who understand that keeping us safe comes first. We can’t afford senators who show up unprepared on the issues that matter most. Our kids’ futures and our nation’s security depend on electing people who take the job seriously from day one — not politicians treating the Senate like on-the-job training.

What? Darline Graham is NOT a Democrat. What were you drinking when you wrote this? It says more about the author than the candidate.
