January 1, Trump Ally Makes BOLD Move on Gun Rights After Years of Socialist Control

Wyatt’s Take
- Colombia’s new pro-Trump president just struck a blow for the Second Amendment — south of the border
- After years of leftist gun control strangling citizens’ rights, working people can now defend themselves
- This is what happens when you elect leaders who stand with America instead of bowing to the globalist disarmament agenda
Colombia just made a move that should have every freedom-loving American paying attention. President Abelardo de la Espriella, a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, signed a decree lifting restrictions on permits for carrying firearms across the South American nation.
For years, ordinary Colombians have been stuck under socialist-style gun control policies that left law-abiding citizens defenseless while criminals ran wild. Sound familiar?

The new decree makes it easier for Colombian citizens to obtain and carry firearms for personal protection — a recognition that the right to self-defense doesn’t stop at the Rio Grande.
This is exactly the kind of leadership that emerges when countries reject the left’s disarmament playbook and align with America First principles. While Democrats here at home keep pushing red flag laws and magazine bans, our allies abroad are actually expanding gun rights.
The timing couldn’t be more telling. As Trump rebuilds American strength on the world stage, leaders like de la Espriella are following his example — putting their own people first and rejecting the UN’s anti-gun agenda.
Colombia has battled narco-terrorism and violent crime for decades. The old approach — disarm the people, empower the bureaucrats — failed spectacularly. Now there’s a new sheriff in town, and he’s taking a page straight from the American playbook: an armed society is a polite society.
Wyatt Matters
When foreign leaders start copying our Second Amendment freedoms instead of Europe’s gun-grabbing madness, that’s a win for liberty everywhere. This is what real leadership looks like — and it’s a stark reminder that the right to defend your family isn’t a left-wing talking point, it’s a God-given right that transcends borders.

They want to take the guns away so they can take over the world. When you’re outlaw guns, then only outlaws have guns.
