Meghan Hays, best known for wearing the Easter Bunny suit that steered President Biden away from reporters, caught heat after claiming “Donald Trump is aging rapidly” on X.

Her remarks quickly stirred up reminders of her viral role during the 2022 White House Easter Egg Roll, when she intervened as Biden tried to answer press questions.

Hays’ post brought her back under the spotlight, as folks online brought up footage of her ushering Biden away while dressed as the bunny.

The person in the bunny costume was Meghan Hays. This wasn’t just some random intern trying to distract Joe Biden.

Reporters identified Hays as the bunny during the incident, pointing out her job at the time was managing White House messaging. Steven Nelson noted that she had received criticism from journalists for limiting press access at the White House.
