Wyatt’s Take

  • A Kentucky woman caught red-handed desecrating our WWII Memorial just walked out of custody on a judge’s order — another example of the left’s contempt for American heroes
  • Fox News legal analyst Jeanine Pirro is sounding the alarm on this travesty of justice while everyday Americans are left wondering why vandals get coddled
  • Our veterans gave everything for this country, and now their monuments are fair game while judges hand out get-out-of-jail-free cards to those who disrespect them

A woman from Kentucky who allegedly vandalized the World War II Memorial on the National Mall has been released from custody. The decision came down from a federal judge who simply told her to stay away from the monument she’s accused of defaming.

Court records confirm the release order. The woman now walks free despite the serious nature of the charges against her.

The World War II Memorial stands as sacred ground for millions of Americans. It honors the 16 million who served in our armed forces during the war and the more than 400,000 who gave their lives. Every star on that memorial represents 100 American deaths.

Yet this judge thought a simple warning to avoid the area was sufficient punishment for someone accused of desecrating it. No jail time. No real consequences.

Fox News legal analyst Judge Jeanine Pirro has been vocal in her criticism of the decision. She’s one of the few voices willing to call out what working Americans across the country are thinking — that our justice system has lost its way when it comes to protecting what matters most.

The National Mall attracts millions of visitors every year. They come to pay respects to those who sacrificed everything for our freedoms. These monuments aren’t just tourist attractions — they’re hallowed ground.

But in today’s America, vandals apparently get more consideration than the heroes they disrespect. The contrast couldn’t be more stark.

While the judge’s name isn’t mentioned in available records, the pattern is familiar. Judges appointed by liberal administrations consistently show more sympathy for lawbreakers than for law-abiding citizens. They worry more about the rights of criminals than the values of the communities they’re supposed to protect.

The accused woman’s motivations haven’t been fully disclosed. But the act itself speaks volumes. Whoever defaces a memorial to American heroes either doesn’t understand what that memorial represents, or worse, doesn’t care.

Either way, the response from our justice system should send a clear message: Touch our monuments, and you’ll face real consequences. Instead, this judge sent the opposite message entirely.

Maintenance and security at the World War II Memorial costs taxpayers money. Every act of vandalism requires cleanup, repair, and additional surveillance. It’s not victimless.

More importantly, it’s an assault on our shared history. When someone defaces a war memorial, they’re not just damaging stone and metal — they’re attacking the memory of every person that memorial honors.

Wyatt Matters

Our fathers and grandfathers stormed beaches, fought in jungles, and died in fields thousands of miles from home so we could live free. Their monuments deserve protection, not judicial indifference. When judges treat vandalism of our most sacred spaces as a minor inconvenience, they tell our veterans that their sacrifice means nothing. Real Americans know better. We remember. And we won’t stop demanding that those who dishonor our heroes face justice, not a slap on the wrist.

Give her a worn out tooth brush and plain water, chain her to the monument with bread and water for sustenance and NO RELEASE until the monument is clean.
