Wyatt’s Take

  • The Senate is close to voting on a bill to force release of Epstein files.
  • The House passed it almost unanimously, with just one ‘no’ vote.
  • President Trump is expected to sign it once it reaches his desk.

The Senate is expected to vote soon on a bill that makes authorities release files linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The House passed the bill 427-1, showing rare agreement across party lines.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune said the bill should move forward quickly.

“My assumption is the president sounds like he’s prepared to sign it,” Thune told reporters as the bill gained momentum.

President Trump has claimed the Epstein issue was a hoax but promised to make public the list of high-profile names tied to the scandal.

During Trump’s early days in office, Attorney General Pam Bondi tried to have conservative voices share public Epstein case details. The move fell flat and hurt the administration’s image on the issue.

Trump let Republican lawmakers know to back the current bill.

Even though he didn’t push for more investigation, Rep. Thomas Massie gathered enough support from colleagues to push the vote through.

Stay tuned for more updates on what these new developments could reveal.
