January 1, Gang Crisis in Aurora: Police Inaction Fuels Fear and Frustration

Potential gang activity was caught on surveillance camera in a Colorado apartment building, and it starkly highlights the “no accountability” problem that is keeping law enforcement from taking meaningful action.

The video captures a group of armed men, including one with a scoped rifle, storming through the apartment complex’s door for unknown reasons. Reports suggest that the group is Tren de Aragua (TdA), a notorious Venezuelan gang with around 5,000 members and the motto “real until death.”

SANCTUARY CITY’S POLICIES PUSH VIOLENT MIGRANT GANG INTO SUBURBS: ‘IT’S A NATIONWIDE PROBLEM’

TdA has now been connected to over 100 crimes across the nation, according to recent reports from the New York Post.

Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky confirmed that “without a doubt, there is sex trafficking now going on” related to TdA’s operations in Aurora.

“This is organized. They patrol the property with guns openly, like they’re not trying to hide them. There’s no repercussion. These are ghosts,” said a former resident who requested anonymity.

The gang has also been seen dealing drugs in the same apartment building, adding to the chaos and danger, according to the resident.

The resident, who recently moved out with help from City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky and congressional candidate John Fabbricatore, shared that she had to borrow money from multiple sources just to relocate. “It took every bit of money I had,” she revealed.

The former resident credits media exposure with helping her move out of the dangerous complex, saying that the councilwoman coordinated all necessary resources to facilitate her relocation.

Aurora Police released a dismissive statement via X, claiming that “reports of TdA influence in Aurora are isolated.” Meanwhile, Denver Police seemed clueless about any gang-related apartment takeovers, responding to inquiries with “not aware.”

Without support from law enforcement, residents are essentially abandoned. “There’s no safety net for you because the police are not coming. They tell you ‘stay inside and lock your doors,’ but I have to work! I’ve been paying rent for years while these people haven’t paid a dime,” the exasperated resident shared.

Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky gave a candid interview, expressing frustration: “In the entire Denver metro area, it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone—media, elected officials—to acknowledge this problem.”

“I hope the police step up because they could have helped me. But their solution was, ‘you ever think about moving?’ It’s heartbreaking,” the resident recalled, tears welling up.

“There’s no help coming for any of us. The police have checked out. They’re not on our side.”

Aurora Police stuck to their earlier dismissive statement when reached for further comment.

Vote Democrat — destroy everything! Colorado votes for Democrats and this is what you get; you voted for it!

Disgraceful that Aurora’s politicians and law enforcement allowed this to flourish. Round up these animals and deport them. Lastly, throw out this weak, woke leadership that has ruined this nice city and left its citizens at the mercy of these illegal alien gangs.

These are the kind of things that happen when the left wing democrats are running things. They are the ones that have come up with that whole “sanctuary cities” mess that are destroying those cities and driving people to leave the whole state for their own safety. Just look at the mess Newsom has made of California, it’s the poster child of what not to allow to happen to a city.People need to think long and hard about who they should elect, at all levels, this November because this lawlessness will spread nationwide if we are foolish enough to put more democrats in charge of our governments, from city to national.
