January 1, Biden’s Dog Bites Secret Service Agent — for the 11th Time
President Joe Biden’s younger German Shepherd, Commander, has yet again bitten a US Secret Service agent, marking his 11th known biting incident.
The recent episode occurred at the White House and involved a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer.
“Yesterday around 8 p.m., a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer came in contact with a First Family pet and was bitten,” disclosed USSS chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi.
The agent, who received medical treatment post-incident, is reportedly doing fine. Commander’s biting spree includes events both at the White House and in Delaware.
Notably, a biting incident in November 2022 resulted in hospitalization for the officer after Commander clamped down on their arms and thighs.
In response to the series of incidents, White House officials disclosed that the Bidens were in the process of implementing new training and leashing protocols for Commander.
Queries regarding the successful execution of the said training or any consequent actions were met with a statement from the first lady’s communications director, Elizabeth Alexander, noting, “the First Family continues to work on ways to help Commander handle the often unpredictable nature of the White House grounds.”
The President and First Lady expressed their gratitude to the Secret Service and the Executive Residence staff.
“The President and First Lady are incredibly grateful to the Secret Service and Executive Residence staff for all they do to keep them, their family, and the country safe,” Alexander emphasized.
It is pertinent to mention that another of the Bidens’ German Shepherds, Major, was previously involved in similar incidents before Commander’s arrival at the White House in 2021.
The correspondence reflecting these incidents highlighted an occurrence in October where Dr. Jill Biden “couldn’t regain control” of Commander, leading him to charge at a Secret Service staff member.
“I believe it’s only a matter of time before an agent/officer is attacked or bit,” a staff member cautioned in an email.
The role of the Secret Service is primarily the protection of the first family, and they are not assigned the handling of family pets. However, the agents often come into contact with the pets, raising concerns.
Jonathan Wackrow, a CNN contributor and former USSS agent, labeled it a workplace safety issue.
“There’s uniqueness here where it’s the residence of the president of the United States, but it’s also the workplace for hundreds, thousands of people. And you can’t bring a hazard into the workplace,” he said.
Wackrow noted that Commander’s recurrent biting incidents have become a “significant hazard” for agents on duty.
“I’m sure that the Bidens love the dog. I’m sure that it’s a member of the family like every dog is, but you’re creating a significant hazard to those who support you – support the office of the president,” he concluded.

On the news, you hear of dogs attacking people and biting causing injury. What do they do about it? They capture and euthanize them to protect the public. Biden in this case is

Any other dog would be listed as a vicious animal. If the owner can’t control the animal, they need to hire a professional like the “Dog Whisperer”.

Ceasar Milan is called dog whisperer but he doesn’t whisper. Whispering is useless. He uses specific sounds with specific leash placement & technique.

Actually he FIXES the owners usually first then the dogs are easy to work with. 9.9 times out of 10 the problem is the owners are worthless at behavior and control of the animal. The animal picks up something off the owner that triggers the animal to act in the manner it does. Bidens mental disability and ineffective consciousness could be what has been triggering the bites. Actually these dogs are typically used for the mentally handicapped and those who have a physical or medical disability… Let the diagnose fall where it does, but these type dogs are generally used for the ADA community because they sense things which others can not or are ignoring. Just a observation from my many years of working with Service Animals to train them to detect things.

If it was a regular persons dog a court would have ordered it to be euthanized after the first or second bite. This dog is just like the rest of the Biden family. Protected and not held to normal societal standards.

As this comment stated it would be list as a vicious dog if were anyone else’s dog and been put down. This is a very bad situation for those working at the White House. Either keep Dog in a Crate or on a lease handled by someone able to control the dog.

It’s possible the dog senses the ‘wrongness’ of Biden’s health of late and is being more protective of him. A similar theory was advanced after the death of a magician at the jaws of his white tiger some years ago.

The larger issue is that after Biden no longer is the POTUS he still gets secret service protection in Delaware so the agents will still be subject to being used as a chew toy and then by BOTH dogs.

I can say without hesitation that if my Doberman bit one person, I would be in a lot of trouble. But; if he had bitten as many as this dog, he would have been taken from and put down. I would be in legal jeopardy with more law suits than one can imagine. It is beyond time for this dog to be dealt with permanently.

Hey, I can remember an incident with “Bite-me” at the podium… He stepped in front of the podium and asked the audience which was all of 2 people they had to pay to be there, I mean, who in the hell would go see that idiot? Anyway, Biden asked the audience, “Am I wearing pants”? Then turned to shake hands with someone no there, stated to walk away, tripped and fell on the ground…..A day in the life of “Bite-Me”!!!

Once again the Bidens think they are special and above the law. Law suits should be initiated on behalf of all those bitten so far and the dog should be euthanized. It pains me to say that because I am a dog lover, but never at the expense of safety to other people.

I had heard that there is a double standard – one set of rules for “regular” citizens and a whole different set of rules for the “elite”,,,,as in gov. officials. If my dog had bitten…2,3,4,5, people…for sure animal control would have removed our pooch from our home. What happens if your dog bites someone in DC?
Like most jurisdictions, Washington, D.C. has a strict liability statute when it comes to dog bites. Under the law, dog owners are automatically responsible for injuries caused by their dogs, as long as the injury victim did not trespass on the owner’s property or provoke the dog to attack.
Really – a law???? HOW IS THAT LAW NOT UPHELD??
District of Columbia Code Division I. Government of District. § 8-1902. Determination of a potentially dangerous or dangerous dog. Prohibited conduct. (a)(1) An owner or custodian shall not allow his or her animal to go at large. (2) If a dog injures a person while at large, lack of knowledge of the dog’s vicious propensity standing alone shall not absolve the owner from a finding of negligence.
Here’s more:
(d)(1) If the Mayor has probable cause to believe a dog is a potentially dangerous or dangerous dog and may pose a threat to public safety, the Mayor, after providing notice to the owner of the probable cause determination, may obtain a search warrant pursuant to Rule 204 of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Rules of Civil Procedure and impound the dog pending final disposition of the case.
(2) The owner shall be liable to the District for the costs and expenses of the impoundment of the dog unless the dog is determined to be neither a potentially dangerous or dangerous dog. If a dog is determined to be a potentially dangerous or dangerous dog, the owner, prior to reclaiming the dog in accordance with § 8-1903, shall reimburse the animal control agency its costs and expenses for the care of the dogs while in the animal control agency’s custody plus any reasonable veterinary fees incurred for the dog during the period of impoundment. An owner’s failure to pay the costs and expenses within 5 days of a final determination shall result in ownership of the dog reverting to the animal control agency.

In many areas an UNPROVOKED bite indecent, one two and its rare for three bites to be allowed would have the animal put down. There is hardly any reason to allow agents to be abused in this way by the Bidens pets that tey can not control. You are responsible for raising them to behave and any aggression is not behaved. What if this was a foreign ambassador/dignitary that was bitten by this dog. Either it is out down or it leaves the White House for the safety of those around. The PUBLIC are expected to remove an aggressive animal from a dog park if it can not behave and god forbid it bites someone, then we are talking about putting it down after animal control gets called. This is a PUBLIC SAFETY matter because the agents/staff and visitors are not chew toys for these animals.

They both need to be put down. Once a Dog Bite its telling you somethings wrong unless its for protection. The next time it should be all over and including the owner. Putting up with these two dangerous people and the decisions they make is a Disgrace. If this was anyone else the owner would be in jail and arrested for Assault and the dog would be daed. Dogs are not naturally aggressive against humans, and Shepherds are among the most docile.
The 3 most common reasons for biting people are:
1) the dog has been trained to be aggressive
2) the dog has been abused
3) the dog is in extreme fear
This is at least the second dog in joe’s care that has bitten a familiar person, but nobody cares to find the cause?

An attorney once told me that when a dog (I would say “especially a German Shepherd) bites the first time he should be put down. What is this? Two dogs that bite? They obviously either are not careful of the breeder they purchase from or they have no control or training to handle such dogs! This is not funny – I have never seen such a travesty in the way legal issues are handled as they are with this whole family and their handlers in the shadows! This is small potatoes compared to what the Bidens have gotten away with to the tune of being bought off for millions of $$$ by foreign entities, but it’s not small to the folks who have been bitten or might be bitten in the future!!! If we survive this administration and their criminal cohorts – history will wonder if the USA had a complete lapse in brain power and horse sense among the people, even the those who don’t vote should have noticed we are on the tipping point of an abyss that promises poverty and lack of opportunity and freedom for most of us!!!

I agree with all that’s said. The dog is a danger to anyone that gets near him. He needs to be put down. It isn’t right that the secret agents have to deal with this abuse. Total shame with the Biden family. They have to go along with the dogs. No respect for the American citizens. To sell us out as they did is a total disgrace to our country. We need Trump.
