January 1, Trump’s Iran Strategy EXPOSED: What Media Won’t Tell You

Wyatt’s Take
- Trump’s Iran moves confuse pundits because they don’t understand basic negotiation — he wrote the book on it decades ago
- The Art of the Deal strategy is working: maximum pressure, unpredictability, and keeping enemies off balance while protecting American interests
- Establishment media panics every time Trump shifts tactics, but he’s playing chess while they’re playing checkers
President Trump’s approach to Iran has left the political establishment scratching their heads. One day he’s threatening maximum pressure, the next he’s signaling openness to talks. But anyone who’s actually read The Art of the Deal knows exactly what’s happening.
This isn’t confusion. It’s strategy.
Trump laid out his negotiation playbook decades ago in his bestselling book. The core principle? Keep your opponent guessing. Never let them get comfortable. Apply pressure, then pull back. Make them wonder what’s coming next.
That’s exactly what we’re seeing with Iran. The mullahs in Tehran don’t know whether they’re facing military action, crippling sanctions, or a potential deal. That uncertainty is the point.
The Washington establishment hates this approach because it doesn’t fit their carefully scripted diplomatic playbook. They want predictable, telegraphed moves that can be analyzed in think tank papers and discussed at cocktail parties. Trump doesn’t play that game.
He applies maximum economic pressure through sanctions that actually hurt. Then he leaves the door open for talks — but only on terms that serve American interests. He’s willing to walk away from any deal that doesn’t protect our national security.
Compare this to the Obama-Biden approach: give Iran billions in cash, lift sanctions, and hope they behave. That weakness led to increased Iranian aggression across the Middle East and a pathway to nuclear weapons.
Trump’s method is different. He withdrew from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, reimposed sanctions, and showed strength when Iran tested us. But he also avoided rushing into another Middle East war that would cost American lives and treasure.
The corporate media portrays every tactical shift as chaos or incompetence. They can’t comprehend that calculated unpredictability is itself a strategy. They want a president who follows their approved script, not one who wrote his own.
Iran’s leaders are finding out what countless business rivals learned before them: underestimating Donald Trump is a mistake. He’s willing to be patient, to shift tactics, to apply pressure from multiple angles.
The goal isn’t to satisfy cable news analysts or foreign policy establishment figures. The goal is to protect American interests and prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons while avoiding unnecessary war.
Every move Trump makes on Iran should be viewed through the lens of The Art of the Deal. He’s using leverage, creating uncertainty, and positioning America to win. The zigzags aren’t confusion — they’re part of the plan.
While pundits wring their hands about mixed signals, Trump is doing what he does best: negotiating from strength. Iran doesn’t know what’s coming next. That’s exactly where he wants them.
Why It Matters
Working Americans don’t want another endless Middle East war, but we also can’t let hostile regimes threaten us. Trump’s approach protects our interests without rushing into conflicts that drain our resources and cost our soldiers’ lives. That’s the kind of America First leadership families across the heartland voted for.

Trump has never dealt with adversaries that KILL TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PROPLE without thinking about it. While he lulls, they are rebuilding, receiving assistance from Putin ( whom he is definitely afraid). His people are bombing single truck and boats. Those bombs should be used to eliminate bases, camps, IRGC INSITUTIONS!
I voted for him 3 times and now am sorry I did! To me his skills are infantile. We should be destroying them. No negotiations skills, he needs leadership skills. His negotiating skills are starting to kill Americans. If he keeps on this path, how many more?

With your “experienced” approach, we should have blasted both Russia and China off the earth. Boy, that would have shown them who has leadership skills.

We agree. No need to blast Russia as the Ukranians are doing a fine job now. The Europeans are not in a hurry to end the conflict as they want to bleed the Russians of men, material reserves and damage their economy. Trump has let the Europeans take front and center on solvign the problem in their own backyard. This is what is happening to them right now. China on the other hand now has to deal with the U.S> being able to put its foot on their neck because of the influence we now have on a majority of the oil they are supplied. China just announced that its GDP growth rate was just 4.7% instead of their normal 5%+. This happened probably because China is now paying fair market value for their oil. This is an economic hit to them. As a bonus, it confirms that Republican position that cheap energy is the life blood of an economy. The fact that the Chinese have announced the postponement of their planned invastion of Taiwan by 2027 indefinately is a good thing and it belongs to Trump. The left will hate this, but there it is. Trump is engaging Russia and China on multiple levels so we don’t have to hit them militarily is a great thing. Trump knows what he is doing and the establishment is upset with him because they are not being listened to and this is why they try to undermine him at every turn. This is probably because their pride is hurt. It could really be that simple when it comes to so called experts.

Respectfully disagee. Read the Art of the Deal and learn Trump’s negotiating method and you will learn that Mr. Porter’s analysis is spot on.
If you voted for Trump three times I will buy an Savings and Loan from you. Please stop posting lies as you come off as a leftist troll. I am so tired of people faking that they voted for Trump and now claim to be bashing his policies. All you are doing is playing into the hands of the Iranian’s and the lies they post. The personal attack on Trump is what gave you away as a leftist. Go sell stupid somewhere else.
The Mad Mullahs are being destroyed and it is happening quickly, but apparently not quickly enough for you. When Military Operations happen, people die. From enemy fire, accidents and friendly fire. This is what happens in Military Operations. The Bolshevik roots of the left are showing in your post as well. Shame on you.

Mr. Wyatt is correct in his assessment of Trump’s strategy. Part of why the deep state problem with Trump is that they are mad that he is not listening to them. What the deep state failes to recognize is that we are in the current situation with Iran because previous administrations followed their script and it failed. Trump has his own script and it is working, the Iranian’s are off balance not knowing what to expect from him. They are divided as part of them is negotiating and part is still tossing a few drones and ballistic missiles. They are getting the same unexpected treatment from Trump and it wearing them out. Time is not on their side, and economically they are almost completely destroyed. The blockade is working and the strikes against their rebuilding efforts keep resetting their capabilities back to zero. The fact that our media and leftist democrats are siding with Iran just exposes them even further as being Anti-American. It shows the Bolshevik roots of the leftists in America. Another win for Trump. The left is going full blown communist and they are not even shy about it. Iran will fall, as will Cuba and the world will be a better place for it. Fourty seven and sixty seven years after they should have been taken care of. The left will say anything to discredit Trump, but as the article points out, he knows what he is doing, if you read and understand the art of the deal. Even Mad Mullahs will lose in the end.
