January 1, Why Multiple Women Are Targeting This Radical Democratic Congressman

Wyatt’s Take
- Democrat Eric Swalwell faces fresh accusations of predatory behavior.
- Activists say multiple women are preparing to come forward with legal claims.
- The allegations reportedly involve misuse of power, social media messages, and NDAs.
A California congressman and candidate for governor is facing a firestorm of sexual harassment allegations involving young staffers. An activist says a pattern of manipulation involved interns and fans.
Democratic activist Cheyenne Hunt says she is working with multiple women who plan to come forward against Eric Swalwell. Hunt said the allegations involve messages on Snapchat and social media ranging from uncomfortable comments to criminal conduct.
“I got involved because the first victim who approached me is a close friend, but when I saw that there were others who’s experiences fit the same pattern of manipulation and abuse of power, I knew I couldn’t stay silent,” Hunt wrote.
The claims suggest Swalwell acted as a mentor to exploit his position over young women. Reports indicate that many of these women were allegedly forced to sign non-disclosure agreements to keep them quiet about his behavior.
“You know Eric Swalwell has slept with many of his interns and makes them all sign NDAs [non-disclosure agreements] so they don’t speak up, right?” read one message shared by the activist.
The congressman, who is already known for his previous ties to a Chinese spy, is currently a frontrunner in the race for California governor. Supporters of the movement to expose him say they have secured legal representation and are ready to face defamation threats.
“The truth is an absolute defense and they know that,” Hunt stated while acknowledging the legal risks of speaking out.
Other Democratic strategists have joined the call for Swalwell to be disqualified from high office due to the looming scandal. They say these are real stories from women within their own party who refuse to be ignored.
Wyatt Matters
This situation shows that the elites in D.C. often think they are above the rules that govern the rest of us. Working people deserve leaders who respect their offices and their subordinates instead of using power for personal gain.
