January 1, ‘Web of Lies’: Biden and Trump Trade Verbal Jabs
President Joe Biden rebuked former President Donald Trump in a scathing speech, accusing Trump of spreading a “web of lies” and holding a “dagger at the throat of American democracy.”
“The former president of the United States of America has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election. He has done so because he values power over principle, because he sees his own interest as more important than his country’s interest, America’s interest, and because his bruised ego means more to him than our democracy and our Constitution,” Biden said during a speech marking the anniversary of the January 6 Capitol riot. “He can’t accept he lost.”
Biden had equally contemptuous remarks for Trump’s supporters who echoed his claims that the results of the 2020 presidential election are illegitimate.
“The former president’s supporters are trying to rewrite history. They want you to see Election Day as the insurrection,” Biden said. “Can you think of a more twisted way to look at this country, to look at America?”
Trump responded to Biden with withering criticism, calling his remarks “political theater” and accusing him of sowing further division.
Biden “used my name today to try to further divide America,” Trump said in a statement. “This political theater is all just a distraction for the fact Biden has completely and totally failed.”
“Our Country no longer has Borders, has totally and completely lost control of Covid (record numbers!), is no longer Energy Independent, Inflation is rampant, our Military is in chaos, and our exit, or surrender, from Afghanistan was perhaps the most embarrassing day in the long and distinguished history of the United States—and so much more,” Trump added.
Trump went on to say that the “big lie” was the election, further reiterating his claims that it was rigged. He asked why the House select committee is investigating January 6 instead of “discussing the rigged Presidential Election of 2020?”
“It’s because they don’t have the answers or justifications for what happened. They got away with something, and it is leading to our Country’s destruction,” Trump said. “They want all conversation concerning the Election ‘Canceled.'”
The former president claimed that Democrats “want to own this day” to “stoke fears and divide America.”
“I say, let them have it,” Trump said, adding that “America sees through” their tactics.

IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE HONEST AND TELL THE TRUTH…….THE ELECTION OF 2020 WAS AND IS “FRAUD”!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO WAY THAT BIDEN GOT ANY WHERE CLOSE TO THE MAJORITY VOTE IN THAT ELECTION!!!!!! Totally agree! Every swing state had gross mishandling of ballots with plenty of illegal activities. Even in the People’s Republic of California where I live there was plenty of voting fraud. FJB!

I wonder sometimes if America is always asleep or do not really care what happens. We have proof that the elections contrary to Democrat lies was stolen with crooked machines. Most have been told of thousands of votes snuck in the middle of the night amazingly all mysteriously for Biden the imposter. However that was Right because the lying Democrats demand nothing happened that was not legit! How they sleep at night is a total mystery to continue to lie all was right! What is more disturbing it seems America is still asleep and happy to accept a total FRAUD! We have about ten months before we take back the house and I believe the Senate and if Biden the IMPOSTER along with all the Democrats who have supported this disgusting FRAUD played upon us are not IMPEACHED and charged with supporting a total COUP along with the attempted destruction of America.

What is REALLY FRIGHTENING to me is the UniParty being exposed at Noon, but sunlight no longer seems to affect most of them (OR Congress and its MSM thought the anniversary of an unarmed white Vet being shot by capitol Police wasn’t Dis-Honest enough to subsidize riots, destruction, and months of headlines to further destroy their own venue. They KNOW there WAS CHEATING and FRAUD but they hate President Trump and all his supporters so much , that they just turned their heads. They also know that Perv Biden did NOT get 81 million votes . After perpetuating a three year false narrative, (i.e. Russian Collusion) and emboldened by its media fueled prominence,
it is entirely credible the same bad actors and complicit media would risk manipulations of the 2020 election. Getting away with the media’s effective dissimulation of the myriad of exposed election fraud irregularities has further emboldened the swindlers to foist the fraudulent Jan. 6 committee upon an apparently guileless electorate. Hope is for the naïve to give way to those that are WOKE to the truth and the left’s falsifications.
