January 1, WATCH: Man Booted from Mall of America Over “Jesus Saves” T-Shirt

A Mall of America security guard told a man wearing a “Jesus Saves” T-shirt to either remove his shirt or leave the mall, according to videos published on social media.

The videos, one of which was livestreamed to Facebook on Jan. 7, show the man talking with security guards near the mall’s rotunda.

The back of man’s shirt reads, “Jesus is the only way,” with the well-known “coexist” symbol crossed out.

“Jesus is associated with religion, and it’s offending people,” a security guard tells the man. “People have been offended.”

The guard then tells the man to remove his shirt or leave the mall.

“I didn’t say anything though. I didn’t speak. I didn’t say anything. I just went to Macy’s,” the man responds.

“Again, I’m giving you a couple options. You can take the shirt off and you can go to Macy’s and you can do your shopping. Or you can leave the mall, OK? Those are your only options right now,” the security guard says.

The guard later claims that the man was violating the mall’s rule against “religious soliciting.” The man argues that he wasn’t trying to solicit mall patrons, he was just simply wearing the shirt while shopping.

“Yes, you’re walking wearing that shirt in the form of soliciting and we’ve had guests come up and say they’re offended by your shirt,” one guard replies.

Mall of America policy prohibits “inappropriate attire,” including “obscene language, obscene gestures or racial/religious/ethnic slurs that are likely to create a disturbance.” The mall also bars “picketing, demonstrating, soliciting, protesting or petitioning.”

Online commenters suggested the man eventually was allowed to remain in the mall with his shirt on, but the Mall of America refused to provide any context or explanation in regard to the incident, Alpha News reported.

The outlet noted that the mall didn’t respond to several calls and emails seeking comment this past week.

Last year, the Mall of America hosted an “all ages” drag show in its “iconic rotunda.”

So, no more visits to that mall. If you are offended by our Lord Jesus Christ and not offended by the gutter trash immoral drag queens that are tacky and raunchy you seem to have your heads screwed on wrong.

Another business that will need to go broke since they apparently support the woke trash.

Shame on you Mall of America. You won’t be receiving anymore business/revenue from this family and believe me we will be letting people know to boycott your appalling facility. You’ll learn by having your pockets emptied.

Good for him to stand his ground. If this is allowed to fester it will not be long before the truths of the Bible will not be allowed because it offends some. Dangerous ground that this country is treading on right now. Look at history. A country that turns it’s back on God does not fare well—–end of story. We are well along on that path.

Would not be a Security Guard at this mall very long. I would have told those offended to “leave the mall if it is so offensive”–“don’t look at it”–last words, –do your shopping and leave.
What’s next?–ban the sale of bibles, shirts with crosses, necklaces and jewelry with religious symbols. What a bunch of woke bull roar!

When a t shirt saying offends you, it’s a weak, scared state of mind

Gues we won’t see those folks holding the line defending this country. More like, putting their hands up and surrendering
    So sad.

So, are you people saying you wouldn’t scream bloody murder if I walked around the mall in a shirt that said “God is Dead!” or one that said “Satan is Your Only True Lord”??? Saying that, I do think the security guard overreacted: it’s a freakin’ t-shirt! He wasn’t acting crazy, just wearing crazy.

I don’t mind you having your superstitions but you should keep ’em to yourselves, in your homes or whatever House of Lies (church, mosque, or temple) you frequent. Remember that we are as much guaranteed freedom FROM religion as freedom OF religion (as you can’t have freedom of your religion without freedom from everybody else’s).

And, yes, I am a Republican. My first vote was cast for Ronald Reagan for President. I represent the REAL Republicans, not the far-right religious wackadoos that are destroying the Party and handing the country to the woke wackadoos on the Left.
