January 1, USAID Closes After Long History of Misused Funds, Rubio Says

Well folks, big news from Washington this week! The Trump administration has decided to make a big change by bringing the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the wing of the State Department. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was the one to announce it.
For years, USAID has been spending lots and lots of our taxpayer money trying to help other countries. But what do we have to show for it? Not much. Rubio says that a lot of the money wasn’t really helping American interests. Can you believe that even after spending billions, some countries still don’t stand with us at the United Nations? Feels like we were paying for nothing!
Rubio tells us that with USAID now part of the State Department, things will change. They’re going to closely watch every dollar and make sure it’s used right. No more of this spending billions and not seeing any good results.
You know, some countries even complained that USAID’s money was being used to push leftist ideas. Like in Hungary, their Prime Minister Viktor Orban said these so-called NGOs were trying to mess with his government.
It’s time to do things differently. From now on, American aid will show where it really comes from—with the good ol’ American flag. We’re shifting from just handing out aid to investing in ways that make sense for America.
We’re not just going to pay for things that don’t help us. Let’s put America first and make sure our taxpayer dollars are working for us, not some lavish NGO executives living the high life.
This is a step to get our country on track and make our international efforts smart and beneficial for us. Now, that’s something to cheer about!
Wyatt Matters!
The government is making an important change to how we help other countries. Instead of letting USAID do its own thing, they will now work together with the State Department. This shift means we will pay more attention to where our money is going, making sure that it truly helps America. Before, even though we spent lots of money, some countries didn’t even support us at the United Nations. It’s clear something needed to be fixed.
By bringing USAID under the State Department, there will be better control over the spending. Every dollar spent will be checked to make sure it benefits America. There’s no room for wasting money on ideas that don’t make sense for us. For example, some countries thought USAID was pushing ideas they didn’t like. This change means we are going to invest in things that matter to our country and what truly represents American values.
Moving forward, our goal is to make sure that any help we give is also a good deal for America. We don’t want to spend money on things that aren’t useful to us anymore. By focusing on what’s best for our country, and showing the American flag proudly, we can make our aid work smarter. Let’s make sure our efforts around the world bring back positive results for us. This change will help America grow stronger and smarter in how we help others.

I never heard of USAID until it was brought up. It’s kind of a misnomer. People think it’s US Aid to the rest of the world. I am behind the closing of USAID. There needs to be transparency where taxpayer money is going and being spent. We can’t be giving out blank checks when we have US citizens hurting here. Americans must come first.

I’m very much for closing USAID, especially after seeing and hearing all of the abuse and waste of taxpayer dollars spent on frivolous things and other things that most Americans don’t believe in like introducing LGBTQ related material and ideology to other countries. America didn’t benefit from 90% of the aid and it certainly wasn’t helping other countries where it was needed most. It makes more sense having US aid under the State Dept.’s watchful eye where it should have been to begin with.

Much tax payer monies go to places we do not approve of either? This is done so there is no complaining from The Tax Payers! Accountability is required. The People should give their approval!
