January 1, Trump Targets Biden’s Electric Car Push
Wyatt’s Take
- Trump acts to end strict fuel rules
- Biden’s electric car plan faces new hurdle
- Car buyers may see more choices soon
President Trump is rolling back fuel economy standards set during the Obama and Biden years. This move could loosen requirements that pushed automakers toward electric vehicles.
Supporters say the rollback makes cars easier to buy and keeps prices down. Critics argue it weakens efforts to protect the environment and hurts Biden’s plan to get more electric cars on the road.
Trump’s new rule may slow down the push for all-electric vehicles. Dealers in the heartland say families want reliable transportation they can afford.
Some environmental groups warn that letting up on these standards could lead to more pollution. Others are glad to see more choices in what people can drive.
As the government shifts policies, carmakers and buyers will be watching closely to see what happens next.

Many, if not all, manufacturers of “EV’s” have failed to sell with profit from their decisions to supply The American People with the must have electric vehicle(s). With the damages accrude from that decision making it has allowed the over-pricing NOW of the combustian engine models. Automakers must make up their loses based on the gamble that The Biden Administration forced down the throats of Americans, while he (Biden) sported his own gasoline Corvette up and down the road. What a “hippocrit”, at the costs added to the rest of us!

Perhaps if law makers were not flying private jets back to their home territory and took commercial flights we wouldn’t have to suffer with having electric cars forced down our throats. That would apply to outspoken global warming advocates too. Al Gore, are you listening?
