Wyatt’s Take

  • Brady praised Paul for being a sponge and taking the competition seriously.
  • Brady said the best respect goes to people who make things happen instead of waiting for them.
  • Team USA dominated the weekend by crushing Brady and Joe Burrow’s squads.

NFL legend Tom Brady and social media star Logan Paul buried their recent feud during a competitive weekend flag football tournament.

Brady admitted he was surprised by the influencer’s dedication to learning the game from the ground up.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion noted that Paul displayed the fearlessness required to succeed in any arena.

This shows that even in an era of flashy digital fame, old-school grit still earns respect from the greats.

“I’ll say this, he impressed me out there,” Brady told reporters after the game.

“I do have respect for people that are really driven to succeed. I’m a firm believer in you don’t wait for things to happen, you make it happen.”

Current NFL stars are eyeing the 2028 Olympics as flag football makes its debut on the world stage.

However, the existing national team stars are not ready to hand over their jerseys to pros without a fight.

NFL stars are unlikely to be able to compete with top flight flag football performers. Flag football is based on quickness/agility, NFL players while very quick for their size, won’t be able to compete with these 130-150 lb rockets. NFL players size hurts them in flag football.
