January 1, Trump Backlash Ignites Debate Over Symbolic Truth Social Image

Wyatt’s Take
- Rev. Franklin Graham said the image was meant to show a doctor helping people, not a religious statement.
- Trump said critics were twisting the post and that the artwork was misread.
- Graham also said leaders should seek guidance from Jesus in their daily work.
“I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ — that would certainly be inappropriate,” Graham wrote.
“It’s supposed to be me as a doctor, making people better,” Trump said.
The controversy seems like another attempt to distract from the President’s record on religious freedom and his support for the American worker.
While some critics called it blasphemy, Graham pointed out that we all need to be listening to the Lord for direction.
Wyatt Matters
Working-class families know the difference between a respectful nod to faith and a media hit job.
We value leaders who aren’t afraid to show they need guidance from above while fighting for our country.
