Fans of The Madison are in for another long wait before they can see how the story continues.

The series tells the story of a family leaving New York City behind to find peace and safety in rural Montana. It focuses on real emotions and the healing power of family and community rather than action or violence.

Season one wrapped up back in March 2026. Viewers have been waiting for answers about when the next chapter would arrive.

Now they have one. Actress Danielle Vasinova, who plays Kestrel Harris, told the press that season two is scheduled to drop at the top of 2027.

"I got cast in the show back in 2024, and our first season came out in 2026, and then season two is going to come out top of 2027. And we’ll be back shooting season three for top of 2027 as well, so stay tuned,"

Actor Kevin Zegers added that filming season two before anyone had seen season one kept the focus on the work itself.

"It was mostly nice to shoot a second season before anyone had seen the first season, just because I think sometimes the show comes out and the vibes change on set because everyone’s kind of like the thing you’re making has been consumed. So, having made the second now, we’re going back to make the third at the beginning of next year."

That means season three will begin filming early next year and likely won’t reach screens until late 2027 or early 2028.

The show stars Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer and was created by Taylor Sheridan. It has already found a strong following among viewers who appreciate stories rooted in heartland values.
