United States team captain Brandt Snedeker gave credit where credit is due after the American squad pulled off a dramatic comeback against the International Team at Medinah Country Club in Chicago.

Snedeker made clear that President Donald Trump played a key role in rallying the players and reminding them what they were fighting for.

President Trump was greeted with cheers as he appeared before the start of Sunday’s Presidents Cup singles matches at Medinah Country Club.

Trump briefly addressed the crowd before greeting golfers and taking in the final day of competition.

“President Trump gave us the fire we needed to fight back and never quit,” Snedeker stated.
