Emmy-winning actress Drea de Matteo, known for her role in HBO’s “The Sopranos,” recently revealed in a podcast interview with Donald Trump Jr. that many celebrities like herself are against Biden’s agenda but are afraid to speak out. De Matteo has a history of criticizing cancel culture and even started a streetwear brand called “Ultrafree” to help “promote free speech.”

During the interview, de Matteo discussed her changing opinions on issues like illegal immigration. She mentioned how she had voted for Biden out of sympathy for illegal immigrants, but the chaos at the border has since changed her mind. De Matteo exclaimed, “I just don’t know that they’re [illegal immigrants] here to support the American people.”

Trump Jr. stated that he had met some of de Matteo’s former co-stars and believed that many in Hollywood might privately question modern leftist policies but are too afraid to speak out. De Matteo confirmed this, saying she has been against the far-left trends for a long time.

“I really did want to fight, but I didn’t think I had, A, the voice, B, the balls,” de Matteo admitted. However, once she “got thrown to the wolves,” she decided to make her stance public.

De Matteo also criticized the Biden administration for using social issues as “pawns to further their administration,” and argued that they did “nothing but divide people.” She claimed that many people in Hollywood are “petrified” and afraid to speak out against the prevailing narrative because “you never win with a liberal, you’re just never gonna win.”
