January 1, McCarthy Destroys Reporter Who Wrongly Claims He Launched Impeachment Inquiry “Without Evidence” (Video)

The usual humdrum of political back-and-forth took an unexpected twist last week.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, usually a measured voice, took the reins and turned a routine press interaction into a fiery display of accountability that left many conservatives cheering from their couches.

It all kicked off with an Associated Press reporter, Farnoush Amiri, echoing an all-too-familiar narrative, hinting that McCarthy’s impeachment inquiry was supposedly “without evidence.”

For the many who’ve been watching closely, this is far from the truth. And McCarthy? He wasn’t having any of it.

As the scene unfolded, McCarthy began his masterclass, turning the tables on Amiri, peppering her with questions that highlight several potential evidences of President Biden’s alleged misconduct.

“So, tell me,” McCarthy began, “Do you think the president lied about discussing business with his son? How about those conference calls? Or that intriguing dinner at Cafe Milano?”

As Amiri scrambled to respond, McCarthy wasn’t letting up.

“Remember that swanky Porsche Hunter Biden drove? What about the very convenient $3 million transfer right after that Cafe Milano dinner?”

With every question, Amiri seemed to shrink, eventually caving with the response, “But is lying impeachable?” McCarthy’s reply was succinct: The American public deserves to know the truth.

While the Left may want to downplay these queries, conservatives on social media quickly amplified the exchange.

GOP bigwig Matt Whitlock weighed in, highlighting the glaring issue of reporters acting more as activists than impartial fact seekers.

“This is what happens when reporters follow the White House’s commands to engage as activists with the Republican inquiry instead of as journalists impartially seeking facts,” Whitlock wrote on X.

Steve Guest, who once spoke for Ted Cruz, didn’t mince words, taking a dig at the Associated Press’ funders.

“It’s on days like today where we see what the left wing foundations that bankroll the Associated Press get for their money,” Guest penned.

Stephen L. Miller from The Spectator probably captured the mood best with his tweet, “’Is lying an impeachable offense,’ Oh you sweet summer child…”

In defense of their reporter, AP stated that they fully back Farnoush Amiri. But this episode surely underscores the questions swirling about Biden and his family’s alleged dealings.

McCarthy’s stand has set a new tone. With the green light for an impeachment inquiry given, the House Speaker seems determined to get the facts straight for the American public. This is politics in its raw form, folks – grab your popcorn.

Is lying to the American public an impeachable offense?
    For the President?
    You’re darn right it is.
And stop acting like it’s OK for him to lie to us.

Just as stealing from companies and others is a criminal offense; or for the newsmedia to lie in order to cover up for the administration or the President; or when the President and his Press Secretary are openly and knowingly lying to the American people.

They are doing everything to keep former President Trump off the ballot, there should be a law against such actions, let the people decide. We all saw and heard Biden say some impeachable things in that meeting, it sickens me to see the democrats get away with lies. And the press appears to me to be part of the cover up.

Lying to the American people isn’t in and of itself a crime. If it were, every politician in the Country would be guilty of that crime! However, if you lie to conceal evidence of a crime, then those become crimes in and of themselves, Obstruction of Justice and Perjury! If you lie to conceal evidence of bribery or Treason, then that just adds to the other crimes! Most of “Tricky Dick” Nixon’s henchmen weren’t convicted of the Watergate break-in itself, only the seven (7)) original burglars were convicted of the original crimes. No, most of Nixon’s accomplices were convicted of Obstruction of Justice and Perjury trying to hide evidence of Nixon’s culpability in either authorizing the burglary itself, or the coverup afterwards. Only Gerry Ford’s pardon of Nixon himself kept Nixon out of jail after his resignation. Otherwise, Nixon himself may have faced prison time for his role in Watergate.
