January 1, Krasner Wins Again Despite Strong Opposition

Larry Krasner, a district attorney in Philadelphia with some pretty extreme ideas, has won the Democratic primary again. He’s supported by the wealthy George Soros, who backs many far-left causes. This means Krasner will likely serve a third term since there are no Republicans running in November in this very liberal city.
Krasner beat his opponent Pat Dugan, a former Army veteran and judge. Dugan actually raised a lot more money than Krasner during the campaign. He got most of his funding from folks in Philadelphia, unlike Krasner, who received a lot of his support from rich people outside the city like Ben Cohen from Ben & Jerry’s.
Krasner’s campaign focused on national politics and he had some harsh words for former President Trump and his supporters, calling them “fascists.” He thinks conservatives are using fake crime crises to take away people’s rights.
On the other hand, Dugan presented himself as a more sensible option and criticized Krasner’s policies, which many think are too soft on criminals. Since Krasner took office in 2018, homicides went up significantly, reaching a peak in 2021, although there was a drop in 2024.
In 2022, the Pennsylvania House tried to impeach Krasner, but it didn’t work out because the court said the charges didn’t meet legal standards.
The Republicans in Philadelphia are hoping people will write Dugan’s name on the ballot in the general election so he can run as a Republican. But Dugan’s team has said he’d turn down the Republican nomination. It’s a tough situation for those looking for a change in leadership there.
Wyatt Matters!
In Philadelphia, our district attorney’s race brings about important discussions. Larry Krasner has won the Democratic primary, and this makes many people think about his role in the city. He has some strong ideas and is backed by wealthy supporters like George Soros. Even though his competitor, Pat Dugan, raised a lot of money locally, it wasn’t enough to win. This means Krasner is likely to serve another term since no Republicans are running in November. It’s clear that Krasner’s ideas have strong support among many people in Philadelphia, but his policies have also brought some concerns about crime.
Krasner’s approach has been bold, but it hasn’t come without criticism. Since he took office, there has been a noticeable rise in homicides, which peaked in 2021, though there was a drop in 2024. People like Dugan, who was also a candidate, have pointed out these issues. Dugan believes that Krasner might be too lenient on crime. Even in the political realm, there was an attempt to impeach Krasner in 2022, but this didn’t go through. Although his methods are different from what some are used to, his focus on national politics and criticisms of past leaders have been part of his campaign message.
The big question now is what direction Philadelphia wants to head in. It’s challenging for those wishing for a different leadership since options seem limited. Some hope for a write-in campaign for Dugan, but his team has said he won’t accept a nomination from the Republicans. It’s essential for the residents to think about which policies will truly work for their city and prioritize safety and justice. The future of Philadelphia relies on careful consideration of these issues, and its citizens have the power to influence what happens next.

You people in Pennsylvania will never learn will you? We lived there for 64 years and we moved to Tennessee and you don’t know how brainwashed you are into thinking life is normal in PA when it is not. Every aspect of life is 10 times better In Tennessee than in Pennsylvania. And you people keep voting in the Democrats you’re never going to learn until they completely destroy the state.

Every voter in PA should look in the mirror and ask ” why am I brainwashed? To support a george soros backed DA is to support power first, party second, state and people last. PA is liken to Minnesota, or CA, or Chicago in that they deserve the prejudiced, selfish, wasteful, totally partisan above the law officials .
