But the court saw through the scheme. This is the same man who stole from clients, manipulated the legal system for years, and showed zero remorse for the carnage he left behind.

Murdaugh built a career on gaming the system in South Carolina’s Lowcountry legal circles. His family name carried weight for generations.

That all came crashing down when investigators started connecting the dots on his financial crimes and the murders of his own family members. The jury tampering scandal exposed how broken the system became during his trial, but it didn’t erase what he did.
