January 1, Intelligence firm identifies Qanon influencer ‘GhostEzra’

The intelligence firm Logically was able to identify a key player in the Qanon community who has spread far-reaching antisemitic conspiracies.

The researchers identified the person known as “GhostEzra” as Robert Smart of Boca Raton, Florida.

GhostEzra has a significant following on the platform Telegram, having amassed more than 300,000 subscribers since the beginning of 2021. The account has promoted conspiracy theories and antisemitic rhetoric that Jewish people control banks and the media.

Researchers were able to find Smart’s identity by finding his email address by way of images from Telegram that led to his Google and Yelp accounts.
