A large crowd gathered in Washington, DC, for a prayer vigil remembering Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk.

The event honored Kirk’s memory after his life was taken during a debate at Utah Valley University on September 10.

Speakers included Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Senior Advisor Kari Lake, Congressman Andy Biggs, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, Congressman Eli Crane, and Arizona State Senator Jake Hoffman.

The organizers described the service as “a unifying event focused on prayer, mourning, and celebrating the life, legacy, and memory of Charlie Kirk — a national treasure whose life was cut far too short.”

The accused is Tyler Robinson, 22, who had a complex personal history. Authorities said “Hey fascist! Catch!” was found inscribed on a round in the alleged murder weapon.

Americans from across the political spectrum attended, gathering to pay respects and join together in prayer and reflection.

Losing a leader like Kirk leaves many seeking answers, but these gatherings show that hope and unity remain strong in the heartland.
