January 1, Florida Airport Renaming Sparks Celebration and Trump Tribute

Wyatt’s Take
- Governor Ron DeSantis signed a law making Donald J. Trump International Airport a reality in Palm Beach.
- The Florida House and Senate passed the bill with overwhelming Republican support this spring.
- The formal name change is set for July 1 once the FAA gives final clearance.
Trump is not charging the county any licensing fees or royalties for using his name.
Florida is the heart of the movement to put America first, and our landmarks should reflect that.
This airport serves over 8 million people a year who will now see a name that represents strength.
The Florida GOP celebrated the news online, welcoming the change to the heart of Palm Beach.
Lawmakers cited Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago as a primary reason for the tribute.
“Florida is honored to be home to this landmark tribute to President @realDonaldTrump.”
The Trump Organization confirmed they are providing this right to the county at no charge.
They want to ensure the hometown tribute remains a win for the local taxpayers.
Wyatt Matters
Renaming this airport is about more than just a sign on a building. It is a reminder that Middle America’s values are winning in states that value common sense and national pride.

No one is more deserving in my opinion. I live in KY so I had no dog in this fight. Just wonder when the left are in power again, and they will be maybe sooner than later, if they will rename this airport as they hate President Trump with such vitriol hatred. Guess time will tell.
