Wyatt’s Take

  • Radical Marxist streamer Hasan Piker just got barred from entering the United Kingdom — a move that signals Western governments may finally be drawing the line on extremist influencers who sow division and anti-American sentiment.
  • Piker, already under federal investigation for potentially violating sanctions laws during a Cuba trip, responded to the ban by blaming Jewish advocacy groups and claiming Israel supporters control UK policy — accusations critics say echo dangerous antisemitic conspiracy theories.
  • This isn’t just about one radical talking head — it’s about dismantling networks of pro-communist, anti-American activists funded by billionaires in Shanghai who want to tear down Western democracies from within.

It’s been a rough week for far-left political influencer Hasan Piker. First, Fox News Digital exclusively reported that the Treasury Department hit him with a federal subpoena over his March trip to communist Cuba, investigating whether he violated U.S. sanctions laws by doing business with the Castro regime.

Then protesters confronted him at an ICE facility in Newark, calling him a “fake-a– grifter” and telling him to “go back to the desktop.” Now, Piker says British authorities have denied his Electronic Travel Authorization, blocking him from entering the United Kingdom for scheduled appearances at SXSW London and the Oxford Union.

“I’ve been banned from the UK,” Piker told his Twitch followers.

“I’ve been to the UK on numerous occasions, and all of the things they’re complaining about now are things I’ve said before. It’s f—ing ridiculous.”

While Fox News Digital couldn’t independently confirm the ban, such a move would mark a significant red line — a Western government finally saying enough is enough when it comes to importing extremist ideologies that fuel social unrest and political violence. If true, it means British authorities have decided Piker’s rhetoric poses a real threat to public safety and social cohesion.

During a lengthy livestream, Piker claimed he was denied entry for alleged antisemitism — a charge he rejected before launching into a rant against Jewish organizations he says campaigned against his visit.

“Israel advocacy organizations have unbelievable amounts of power over what even the United Kingdom has to say and do,” Piker said.

“If you’re an avowed anti-Zionist, your travel will be restricted.”

He accused the UK government of bowing to pressure from pro-Israel groups and described the decision as evidence of a “crackdown on political dissent” across Western democracies. Critics point out that blaming Jewish groups for controlling government policy is a classic antisemitic trope — exactly the kind of rhetoric that got him banned in the first place.

Several British Jewish organizations had publicly urged the government to block Piker’s entry, citing comments they described as antisemitic and supportive of extremist groups. Piker previously said America “deserved” the 9/11 attacks as “backlash” for its foreign policy.

The Jewish Leadership Council and Community Security Trust argued that Piker’s presence wouldn’t be “conducive to the public good,” pointing to his comments defending Hamas, Hezbollah, and attacking Zionism and Orthodox Jews.

Labour MP David Taylor also called on the Home Office to revoke Piker’s authorization, arguing his rhetoric contributed to rising antisemitism within Britain’s Jewish community. Piker repeatedly rejected accusations of antisemitism during his stream, claiming criticism of Israel was being “conflated” with hatred of Jews.

“This is straight-up fascism,” Piker said.

“Being critical of Israel while combating antisemitism is not a good enough reason to bar someone entry into the country.”

The streamer had planned appearances alongside former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, a live podcast recording, and an event at Oxford Union. Varoufakis co-founded Progressive International, the nonprofit group that organized Piker’s controversial Cuba trip — a journey now under federal investigation for potential sanctions violations.

Fox News Digital’s investigation revealed how Progressive International and co-founder David Adler have allegedly been part of a foreign influence operation by Cuba’s Communist Party. Neither Progressive International nor Adler responded to requests for comment.

The UK government didn’t respond to comment requests either. But Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood recently revoked the travel authorization of Piker’s uncle, Cenk Uygur, founder of “The Young Turks,” after determining his presence wouldn’t be “conducive to the public good.”

During his livestream, Piker warned the UK decision could set a precedent for other Western countries like Australia and Canada to restrict his travel.

“I genuinely did not think this would happen,” he said.

“We’re moving into a very different timeline.”

Piker’s troubles intersect with a much bigger investigation into transnational activist networks operating inside America. This week he admitted the Treasury Department’s Cuba investigation may actually be focused on Neville Roy Singham — an American Marxist billionaire living in Shanghai who’s been bankrolling a network of radical groups.

Singham funds organizations like CodePink, which also received a Treasury subpoena over the Cuba convoy, along with the Party for Socialism and Liberation and the ANSWER Coalition. All three openly identify as socialist or communist and have organized anti-Israel demonstrations across America since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.

Critics argue these demonstrations have created hostile environments for Jews in both the UK and U.S., including chants like “From the river to the sea” — a slogan calling for Israel’s elimination. Trump administration officials are investigating groups tied to Singham as a transnational network advancing anti-American, pro-Chinese Communist Party narratives while exploiting political divisions inside the United States.

Lawmakers, Treasury officials, and national security analysts are examining whether these networks amplify polarization, social discord, and hostility toward democratic institutions. At last night’s ICE protest, Piker defended the groups as led by “wonderful” people.

The debate has been particularly intense in Europe, where governments are confronting alliances between far-left activists and Islamist organizations united around anti-Israel activism. Critics say these coalitions have fueled rhetoric and violence against Jews, contributing to surging antisemitism in the UK — just like in America.

Piker ended his stream defiant but clearly rattled, repeating, “Bro, they banned me from the UK,” before finally signing off.

“I’m done for the day.”

Wyatt Matters

When foreign governments start barring American influencers from their countries, we ought to pay attention — especially when those influencers are under federal investigation for cozying up to communist dictatorships. This isn’t about free speech. It’s about whether we’re going to tolerate radicals who take money from China-connected billionaires to spread anti-American poison to millions of young Americans. The fact that Piker’s response is to blame Jewish organizations for having too much power tells you everything you need to know about his real agenda.
