Wyatt’s Take

  • Pam Bondi removed a Justice Department worker for being disrespectful.
  • Security cameras caught Elizabeth Baxter flipping off National Guard troops and cursing at them.
  • Justice is showing zero tolerance for staff showing contempt for law enforcement and the military.

Attorney General Pam Bondi fired a Justice Department employee after footage showed the staffer making an obscene gesture at National Guard troops in Washington, D.C. The dismissed worker, Elizabeth Baxter, was caught on a security camera flipping off the troops and telling them to “f*** off.”

Baxter later discussed the disrespectful gesture with a security guard at DOJ, expressing open disdain for the National Guard. She worked in DOJ’s “4CON” building, a location where another ex-employee, Sean Charles Dunn, was recently fired after throwing a sandwich at a Customs and Border Protection officer and insulting agents.

Dunn’s case began after he called federal agents “fascists” and shouted profanities at them before throwing his food at one of the officers. He faced both a firing and criminal charges, but a grand jury declined to pursue felony assault, leading instead to a lesser charge.

Pam Bondi made it clear in public posts that opposing DOJ’s mission or law enforcement will get staff shown the door. She called out persistent disrespect within the agency and is tightening standards to restore order and accountability.
