January 1, Bye Bye: Top Intelligence Officials Resign Before Trump’s Return
Hey folks, I’ve got some news that you might find interesting. The big guys at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) are stepping down before President Donald Trump comes back. This is a big deal because these inspectors general are some of the first to clear out as Trump gets ready to make his return. Remember, Trump has promised to drain the swamp and get rid of the bad actors in Washington.
To help him with this, Trump picked some real go-getters. John Ratcliffe, who used to be in charge of the nation’s intelligence, is going to lead the CIA. And Tulsi Gabbard, a former congresswoman from Hawaii, will be teaming up as the Director of National Intelligence. Interesting times ahead for sure!
Now, let’s talk about Thomas Monheim and Robin Ashton. They were the ones keeping watch over ODNI and CIA. Monheim took the role after Trump fired his predecessor, who was involved with that whole impeachment mess. They were picked by Biden and have been doing their job since around 2021. These inspectors general are supposed to keep an eye out for any bad stuff going on and report it to the big shots in the agencies and Congress.
Here’s where it gets real interesting: There’s this thing folks call “the administrative state.” It’s a bunch of unelected folks who get to make all sorts of rules without being elected by us, the people. They kind of do their own thing, which can mess with how the government is supposed to work.
Remember when the whole “laptop from hell” story blew up? A bunch of intel folks tried to say it was Russian funny business. But those 51 people probably knew that wasn’t true because the FBI had the laptop all along. Even Biden used it to bash Trump during a debate.
As we watch everything unfold, let’s keep in mind the importance of keeping our government accountable and ensuring that those in power are working for us, the American people. Stay tuned for more updates.
Wyatt Matters!
Right now, a lot of changes are happening in Washington, and this could be important for the future of the country. With people like John Ratcliffe and Tulsi Gabbard stepping up to lead the CIA and ODNI, there might be some new ways of doing things. These leaders have a big job ahead to ensure the intelligence community stays on track and serves the interests of the country. Their task is to make sure everything is transparent and working the way it should be for the American people.
Thomas Monheim and Robin Ashton have been doing their best to keep things honest and open at ODNI and CIA. Inspectors general help make sure no wrongful or sneaky business is happening, keeping both the agencies and Congress informed. However, it is crucial that the government remains straightforward and everyone understands the work being done. The role of inspectors general is a reminder that there’s always someone watching to prevent any wrongdoing.
It’s so important to remember how much power unelected officials can have, sometimes making decisions that affect everyone. The “administrative state” has a big influence, but it needs to be balanced so the government stays true to what the people want. By staying informed and questioning those in power, everyone can help ensure the government works for the people and respects the way things should run. Keeping track of current events means staying engaged and ready to act when necessary to keep democracy strong.

They are taking early retirement because they know they will be fired without a retirement if they wait.

The writing is on the wall. Obviously they did something they feel guilty about. Yes it’s time to clean the Biden/Harris mess up out of here and while they’re at it find out who had the cocaine in the White House and make Hunter pay for his room, board and transportation things he got for free during Papa Joe’s
time. Plus get the laptop mess opened up and cleaned up!

Too bad they resign rather than suffer the consequences of the treason to this country

If the incoming can find evidence of wrongdoings at the behest of Biden and Obama, they can still be held liable in court. Trump already ordered that no files or documents be destroyed. I’m sure they’ve got Hilary and her copy of BleachBit on speed dial

Good I’m glad they left if all they are doing is wasting time to get a payday seems a lot of the government employees in the higher ranks need their pay cut in half n the money go toward the debt ceiling n either pay their taxes or go to jail … Alot of things need to change and I for one am glad Trump is back where he belongs …. Make America great again n bring back the values that made this country in the first place
