January 1, Soros Dynasty Continues: The Son Also Rises with More ‘Woke’ Ambitions

In the tradition of the old guard passing the baton to the new, billionaire leftist George Soros is bequeathing his $25 billion financial kingdom to his son, Alex. The younger Soros, only 37 and with the reins of the empire in his hands, promises to pursue even more ultra-liberal causes. Like a modern-day Don Quixote, tilting at conservative windmills.

This isn’t just about voting and abortion rights or “gender equality” for him. Oh no, this scion of the Soros dynasty is all set to immerse himself deeper into our nation’s political scene ahead of the 2024 election. Now, ain’t that a fine kettle of fish? The man has already knocked on the White House door 17 times in little over a year and hobnobbed with top Democrats. If that’s not political involvement, I don’t know what is.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for freedom of speech and democratic engagement. But when it’s driven by a clear ideological agenda and backed by a multi-billion dollar war chest, one has to raise an eyebrow. Just because a man has money, does it mean he has a monopoly on influencing our country’s direction? I think not.

What’s troubling is that his ‘Open Society Foundations’ pours approximately $1.5 billion annually into causes around the world. While helping others is an admirable pursuit, let’s not forget that these “causes” often promote policies that fundamentally alter the fabric of nations – like mass immigration, amnesty for illegal immigrants, and legalizing prostitution.

Alex Soros seems to be losing sleep over the idea of Donald Trump making a comeback. I reckon that’s his way of saying the family purse will be wide open to the Democrats in 2024. The young Soros opines, “As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it, too.” A clear case of the pot calling the kettle black, wouldn’t you say?

He urges Democrats to be clearer and “more patriotic and inclusive” to win voters’ trust. Well, I hate to break it to you, Alex, but patriotism isn’t about grandstanding and political posturing. It’s about loving your country, sticking to your principles, and working hard to make it a better place. It’s about taking pride in our constitution and our values, not trading them for the flavor-of-the-month ‘woke’ cause.
