January 1, Judge Halts Biden-Era ICE Data Sharing Scheme

Wyatt’s Take
- A federal judge stopped agencies from using tax data to find illegals.
- Fourth Amendment rights sparked the decision.
- This move raises worries about justice for taxpayers.
A Massachusetts federal judge has stopped the IRS and Social Security Administration from giving private tax information to ICE and Homeland Security. The judge says using tax data in this way could be abused, leading to mistakes and possible privacy violations.
The government argued that noncitizens do not have rights under the Fourth Amendment, but the judge did not agree.
“She argued that using this method is ‘ripe for abuse’ and warned that it would give ICE nearly unlimited authority to access sensitive information for civil enforcement.”
The judge pointed to a case where a legal citizen was wrongfully arrested after being confused with someone else. She also said immigrants may avoid paying taxes if they fear wrongful targeting.
This isn’t the judge’s first time blocking key policies. In 2025, she stopped efforts to end humanitarian parole and halt Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood.
Some argue the government needs access to tax records to deport illegals who use different names or lack criminal records. However, the court now says these agencies must stop sharing that information for now.
“American citizens face severe civil and criminal penalties for any tax violation. Today, a federal judge has ruled that illegal aliens are functionally exempt from any consequences for robbing the American taxpayer.”
For years, ICE relied on IRS checks to confirm addresses of suspected illegal immigrants. Now, privacy and fairness concerns take center stage, with many worried federal spying could stretch beyond tax enforcement.
Americans are watching to see who the law really protects—and who pays the price.
Wyatt Matters
This ruling touches a nerve for folks who play by the rules and pay their fair share. When the system bends to protect some but not others, regular Americans suffer most. Values like fairness and justice matter here, not politics.

Another anti-America judge attempting to disrupt our justice system from doing their duty and their jobs. She is an idiot from Massechusetts. Why is all the libturd states have intellectual and ignorant jurists. When these idiot perform their inane constitution statements their states should lose all Federal dollars. That will put pressure on their voters to make their voices heard even louder.
